Nothing is "fucked up." They're simply still counting legally submitted valid votes. Which, by the way, happens in EVERY presidential election. It's just that elections are usually decided by election night. Anyone who watched for hours last night knows that something was off, all night. Fox News "Election Decision Desk" were noticeably odd in the manner in which they called and didn't call states.
What simply can't be denied is that 5 states that Trump started taking a big lead in, MI, N.C, PA, WI and one other I can't remember right now, ALL states stopped counting at the same time. No votes were counted for hours. I still haven't seen a reason. 5 hours, no updates. When do people stop counting votes in a federal election?
I can tell you that the damage done to the trust in the system is now gone. Possibly for both sides. This is devastating beyond ways that many Americans will ev. There are already comments being made by Canadians online that we can't trust our own election results. "How do we know ?"
I've never seen anything like this, nor have so many. We saw the rallies before the election, we've seen the enthusiasm, we knew the polls were horrifically wrong.
