After learning that Fauci paid Wuhan to develop a variant of Covid that specifically attaches to the ACE2 protein, which is unique to the human respiratory system, it reminded me of Vonnegut's short story Ice Nine. In that story a scientist, much like Fauci, develops a water molecule that turns to water to ice at room temperature and, moreover, transmits that unique to any other water molecule that it contacts. Drop an Ice Nine molecule in a river, the river freezes during summer.
