Two reasons why democrats hate using the word Republic when identifying America's political system.

Like I said, Republicans don’t like to talk about democracy because they have nothing but contempt for voters.
Ill care what you have to say the day your side picks and choses which law you will obey.

Enforce our laws in the border. Those that demand we obey their laws but ignore orhers can go to hell.

Mob rule is the pejorative used by Republicans when they show they don’t actually think the people hold the power.
Again show me the word democratic or democracy is the constitution?
While often categorized as a democracy, the United States is more accurately defined as a constitutional federal republic. What does this mean? “Constitutional” refers to the fact that government in the United States is based on a Constitution which is the supreme law of the United States. The Constitution not only provides the framework for how the federal and state governments are structured, but also places significant limits on their powers. “Federal” means that there is both a national government and governments of the 50 states. A “republic” is a form of government in which the people hold power, but elect representatives to exercise that power.

Republicans love ignoring laws. Just look at how the republicans talk about refusing to enforce gun laws.

Voting is a republic institution
Some republicans are more democratic than others.

The sticking point in republics was determining who is “the public” and who is excluded.

But since you don’t think we are democratic, don’t vote.

Your already demonstrated your contempt for the people. Conservatives don’t like acknowledging that the people hold the power and don’t want the people preventing them from exercising the power they have seized.

Your contempt to the American people is lying to them. Lying that America is something other than a Constitutional Federal Republic

Yes Republicans that are democratic are RINOs
Republicans know the people reject them and so they use their power to minimize the ability for the people to take the power away from them.

To Republicans, the people have power so long as the republicans allow them to have it.

RINOs hate the Republic and would rather maintain control in the minority position than actually win

Republicans know they’re quite unpopular. They cling to anything that can minimize the people’s ability to get rid of them. Gerrymandering. Electoral college. Trying to reduce ballot measures. Using courts to prevent the opposing president from exercising his authority.

They want the power for themselves. Not the people.
