The first year after the tax cuts were implemented, economic growth shot up to 2.9 percent in 2018. It fell back in 2019 to 2.3 percent, which can be attributed, at least in part, to tough trade stands Trump took against China that led to a deal.

No one thinks Trump created the virus, but EVERYONE thinks that his response to the virus, was both irresponsible and criminally negligent. The New England Journal of Medicine said that Donald Trump should be tried for negligence. 210,000 people did not need to die. It's not happening in any other first world country in the world.

And to this day, you keep trying to convince us that none of this is Trump's fault, even though he failed to prepare, failed to restock, and failed to get tests out and failed to do anything except deny the problem or say it would "disappear like magic", until March 15th, and then he told Mike Pence to deal with it.

Obama raised taxes, rewrote regulations and set off the longest period of growth and high job creation in the history of the nation.

First off, Trump's record on jobs is not better than Obama's Not even close. Obama's record of creating an average of 200,000 or more jobs every month for more than 6 years is unmatched. That ended in 2017, when job creation dropped to 183,000 per month for the year.

Given that Trump's travel restrictions not only failed to contain the virus, but by encouraging Americans living or working in China to come home without being able to test them when they got there, Trump's travel restrictions BROUGHT the virus into the USA and spread it across the nation.

The first cases of community transmission occured when Trump brought the sick passengers from the cruise liner home from Japan in the same plane as those who weren't sick, and then had them met at the airpot by DHS workers with no PPE, or safety protocols, or tests, to process their paperwork. The CDC was so outraged by Trump's plans that they refused to sign off on this clusterfuck but Captain Covid insisted on doing it his way. The DHS workers went home and spread it to their families, and the outbreak in California was off and running.
Biden worked in the White House during the H1N1 pandemic and the Ebola outbreak where American loss of life was LOWER than expected, and in line with the world population. So he knows how to manage a pandemic effectively.

Biden was also the guy that Obama charged with the job or restarting the economy after W's crash in 2008, and less than 6 months after Obama took office, the recession was over. It took a longer time to recover the millions of jobs lost in the previous 18 months, but the USA went from shedding 800,000 the month Obama was inaugurated to creating and recovering jobs by July of that year, and Joe Biden is the guy who did that.

In fact, Joe Biden may be the only man in the world, other than Barrack Obama, who is both qualified and experienced with dealing with a pandemic in the midst of an economic collapse. Real hands on experience.
