Walter Williams: Why the Founders Did Not Want a Democracy

At trump rallies, selling trump gear, some "good people" according to trump, Seig Heiling TO trump.....:heehee:
that explains why they are still fully stocked with their gear…nobody there to purchase the national socialist stuff

.

The term I provided does not exclude a Constitution.
Constitutional Republics don't not have to include Democratically Elected Representatives.

if you took time to look up the legal definition you would know what we are,

That won't work.

Have to go to the Federalist (at the very least) for pure relevance.

I'd also add that what is Legal is very, very seldom Lawful.

And that's important, given the primary foundation for moral code which defines man's relationship to man and therefore man's relationship to government.

So we get into Liberty-Responsibility there. Which is fundamental to the tradional American philosophy of governance.

That's technically correct.

For some reason I've never liked that specific language, though.

I think the reason being is that it doesn't differentiate and emphasize relevance to the Federal Republic vs the State Republics.
technically speaking thats not correct,,,

I didn't suggest there was the absence of a Constitutional Republic ...
Just that we have a Democratically Elected Representative Republic.

If you don't think that is what we have ... How so?

It doesn't matter if you like it ... It is correct ... :auiqs.jpg:

Anyway ... Good to see you, I just don't need to split hairs any more on it.
People tend to understand how things work when I use that definition.

Waiting for what?

Maybe search the forum for key words "compound Republic"

I've explained it well over a hundred times.

Sometimes thoroughly, sometimes on the fly.
I have researched whether we are a constitutional republic for decades,, you made a claim so provide a link,, I did,,
