I didn't hear that one, but I did go out of my way to get a firearm I've been wanting but couldn't 'afford'. It's on the so called "banned" list too. I'll be sure to register it.

amazing thing about the ban list. I have an AR-15 and a mini 14. both shoot the same ammo at the same rate and accept the same capacity clips. one is on the ban list the other isn't. the only difference is one looks "dangerous" This whole thing is driven by an uneducated paranoid group with an agenda. No thought has gone into it at all.

That was obvious when Cuomo whiipped the thing togetehr overnight and got it passed. The bill was about political posturing and "being the first to pass gun laws" following the tragedy.

He probably should have thought it through, because all those who voted favorably on the measure are now doing a lot of backtracking. Cuomo also tarnished his run on the White House (should he make one) by rushing this and not thinking it all through. Another professional psychopath politician who thought he could get away with something he could not. Ooops.

oh they sure are backpeddling. they have taken a ton of flak. the only ones being vocal are the ones who opposed it. They are out in the public eye while the others have become wallflowers and are trying to avoid the subject

and i would say to all the anti gun nuts why shouldn't i have one? in fact i have many. 20 round, 30 round 75 round. I've shot well over 100,000 rounds through them to. And not one round has caused anyone any harm. In fact, with the exception of a very small few, others haven't either. when I pay for a range I want to spend my time shooting, not reloading.

Now I don't drink, but I don't whine and cry to ban alcohol becuase it kills people. or that people drive cars drunk and kill others. And i don't text when i drive, but i don't run around whining ban cell phones because people text and drive an kill people. more people die form both of those activities than high round magazines.

So you anti gun cry babies better come up with a pretty good reason why i, or any other legal citizen should allow you to infringe on our constitutional rights. just remember, the gun owner population is growing rapidly. 20,000,000 new pistol permits were applied for last year alone. the last gun ban saw the republicans take control of both houses for the first time in decades. And none of us are backing down

30 rds is enough.

Besides, shooting a pistol will improve your accuracy with a rifle unless you're a sniper.

with the AK, I load up two 70 round drums at home and i'm good for the day with that gun. when you are out shooting, especially in the cold you don't want to be reloading in the field. and you would rather be shooting. it's not about pulling the trigger and sending of 70 rounds in a flurry, although sometimes that is kind of fun.
