I think the young-social-justice-warrior shaming of anyone born into a historically favored class is awful, and it feeds into the unfortunate narrative of the left looking for examples of things to be indignant about. And of course, the media promotes the worst examples because, well, they generate the most controversy, which is good for them.

That being said, there are certainly examples of white people having an unjust advantage in America. People with "white" sounding names are more likely to be hired for a job with equal qualification, there are numerous instances of police profiling of minorities, and the court system favors whites in sentencing.

The hijacking of the discussion with angry anecdotal evidence and race baiting on both sides (Seen Fox News lately? Seen Tumblr lately?) should not take attention away from the fact that there is still very real racial prejudice in America.

You should check the website again. You must have missed something. I said whites get away with it more often hence the reason Blacks are arrested at a higher rate. If they arrested whites instead of letting them go the rate would be triple the Black rate. That still has nothing to do with the total numbers. Oh I see what you did. We know this. I said whites get away with it more often hence the reason Blacks are arrested more often. If they arrested whites instead of letting them go the rate would be triple the Black rate. That still has nothing to do with the total numbers.

Since violent and street crime are obviously more likely to result in arrest, it is amazing that arrest of blacks is as low as it is. Young black to males are a menace to each other and others of their race. If black lives matter, that is the problem that should be addressed. Guiliani was right!
