Why did that judge dismiss the gun charge?

Because even the prosecutor acknowledged, to the judge, that Rittenhouse had done nothing illegal. The gun was a legal rifle and he had every right to carry the weapon.

The real question, if you have any character at all, is why are we now first learning that there were no grounds, whatsoever, for any gun charges to be lodged against him.

Again, Rittenhouse, if he was hunting for people, he sucks at hunting. Because there was thousands he could've shot. But somehow, he only managed to shoot those that were attacking him.
