If such a thing were to happen, I would ask why is it that the Republicans insist on passing bills they know will be vetoed if and when they also know that they don't have the votes to override the president's veto. Like I said, there are a number of bills that were not brought to the floor because blue dog Democrats and those up for reelection would join the Republicans and defeat the filibuster.
