The ID is a problem, since not everyone has one. Issue them one, for free including the paperwork required, and that problem goes away. Simple right?

And also give them free transportation and keep the DMV office open 24 hours so people don't have to miss work. Help them to get a birth certificate for free.

Anything else would be a tax on voting which would be unconstitutional.

I'll buy that, IF the ID is only good for voting and absolutely nothing else. Other wise they can pay just like I did, I have 5 photo ID's that are good for voting and only 2 of them were free, unless you consider military service a price paid.
