Why Are Conservatives So Resentful Of Americans With Good Jobs?

You're awfully bitter, considering the extreme left swept the election. We are well on the way to the workers paradise you've fought for.

You should be happy, we'll be Cuba soon enough!

You mean all the right wingers will get on leaky boats and leave?

OH, be still my beating heart.

They won't be leaky boats but cargo ships and when they leave they will take their industry with them.

With their cash.

My grandfather bought 150 acres in Clintondale NY in 1899. Cultivated it for 20 years with apple orchards that still stand today. By the 50s he had saved enough $$$ farming to buy 450 acres in Cuba on a lake there. He would drive to Miami and charter a DC-3, fly to Cuba and fly migrant workers over to Miami and then drive them to NY to pick his apples each year. Their descendants still live in the Hudson Valley region there. And they HATE AND DESPISE anything and everything Castro and socialism.
Castro stole that land and shot 2 of my grandfathers business partners with another fruit company there.
That is what they really want here. Why else would a union thug beat up an old woman wanting to work?

Because that old woman was stealing his job?

Oh, I'm sure the people who got out, the wealthy and the boot-lickers hate Castro.

But you guys have thrown everything you have at Castro, and he's still there. We've spent 50 years punishing Cuba for flipping us off, and they still are.

But let's listen to what a Great American said about Cuba..

"I believe that there is no country in the world including any and all the countries under colonial domination, where economic colonization, humiliation and exploitation were worse than in Cuba, in part owing to my country’s policies during the Batista regime. I approved the proclamation which Fidel Castro made in the Sierra Maestra, when he justifiably called for justice and especially yearned to rid Cuba of corruption. I will even go further: to some extent it is as though Batista was the incarnation of a number of sins on the part of the United States. Now we shall have to pay for those sins. In the matter of the Batista regime, I am in agreement with the first Cuban revolutionaries. That is perfectly clear."

— U.S. President John F. Kennedy, interview with Jean Daniel, 24 October 1963[11]

Fuckin' Commie JFK. Doesn't he know the Cubans were all happy living in slums while Corporations owned all their land?

Jobs are not owned, they are EARNED.
How does one earn a job with a picket sign in their hands?

Anyone who bought land in Cube pre Castro was a gangster or an asshole

So you're comparing Republicans to the Romanovs? Do you think they should all beb executed like the Romanovs were?

You sound more like a commie every time you post.

The Romanov's weren't executed, they were murdered. And I have no doubt that in his leftist jealousy and hate, Joeb would gladly murder anyone he could get his hands on.

It's your love of regulations and taxation that keep the multinationals alive. Because of their enormous size, they can thrive in threat free environment because the "little guys" will never jump thru your hurdles..

Wait, the mega-nationals bought and paid for those very regulations to keep the small guys out. Hell, they probably WROTE the regulation. You need to think a little deeper about this shit. Why do you think we keep screaming at the top of our lungs that we need to get corporate money out of all aspects of our governmnent, and WHY DON'T YOU PEOPLE EVER SEEM TO HEAR IT OR LET IT SINK IN???? The game is seriously rigged, and it ain't the government who did it. Look at every mega industry in this country and watch the monopolization through the years, the unfair, backroom legislation sneaked into major bills. Hell, Monsanto is trying to outlaw backyard gardens and farmer's markets now. Idiots.

Why do you think small farmers cannot sell their own milk other than as "pet food"? It isn't the government that did that. That was the milk industry.

Exploitation and poverty on the scale that was seen in Cuba pre Castro?

fuck off nitwit. no one is a communist here. :eusa_clap:

How did my Grandfather exploit anyone? He paid cash for that land to a private land owner.
Castro not a communist?
Your support of a communist stealing property is makes you a communist.
You watch too much TV. Batista was crooked as hell but that has nothing to do with my family rural buying property there no where near any of Batista's control.
You do know that even today Cuba is a very rural country and even Castro has little to no control over any of the rural areas.
Don't you dumb ass?
Even more so in the 50s as rural areas were totally governed and run by the locals.
Made it easier for Castro to take power.
So everyone that owned property there was exploiting the Cubans?:lol::lol::lol:
You are dumb as a box of rocks. People get on rubber rafts attempting to get to America and you believe that is because Castro is so great.:lol::lol::lol::lol:
My grandfather hired fishing and hunting guides there. Ted Turner does the same thing now and for many years. I suppose they are also "exploiting" the Cubans.
And Cuba has some of the best resorts in the world there NOW and then.
And I suppose everyone that goes there, then and now, are "exploiting" the Cuban people.

The land was stolen by the communists and you fully support that.

"How does one earn a job with a picket sign in their hands?"

having to ask that question makes you look like the idiot you are

Great come back for a stand up comedian with no clue how to answer the question.
How does one earn a job with a picket sign in their hands?
Try again.

Corporate $$ comes out of the pockets of people.
I do agree that hiding behind the current election guidelines with their funny rules on campaign finance allows allows corporations to funny $$ gather and contribute versus giving that $$ to their share holders as dividends. And politicians use the carrot of funny regs and policies that favor those particular industries.
But this is not new news. Been this way forever, especially from the mid 1800s to the Garfield shooting which put Teddy Roosevelt in office.

You know, I noticed you skipped over my whole Cuba discussion, probably too scary for you. I get that. The last thing you want to consider is that the Plutocratic class is only tolerated by the rest of us until we get sick of it.

Point is, that job only exists because the rest of us patronize that business. Therefore, we all owe it to each other to make sure the owners and plutocrats are playing fair wiht their workers.

That's what the guys with the picket signs do, because left to their own devices, we'd get more of this kind of shit from the plutocrats...

Ummm, Teddy Roosevelt got into office because McKinley got shot by an anarchist.

Garfeild was shot by a crazy person who thought he was owned an ambassadorship. That gave us the otherwise forgettable presidency of Chester B. Arthur.

Now, I'm going to actually be gracious here, because despite your sad attitudes, I think your a smart guy and this was actually an oversight on your part.
