That issue was settled in the Heller case. The right to keep and bear arms is an individual right the same as the right to free speech and freedom of religion. Justice Scalia explained the militia issue very well in his dissertation.

That is not even open for discussion any more.

However, facts like that will never stop a Liberal from making an ass of themselves, will it?

Heller is like Dredd Scott or Plessy.

A decision which will be repealed as soon as common sense hits the supreme court.

Hmmm...seems to me that law abiding blacks live in democrat controlled cities...which mean that they have strict gun control policies...so only the criminals have the guns....as the police try to arrest the minority community members who are criminals...democrats get them released to prey on the other minorities.....it helps convince them they need democrats to keep them safe...I know...you would think after slavery, jim crow, lynchings, bombings, fire hoses, and the Great Society destroying the black family...as well as other poor families...they would get the idea that democrats are not looking out for them.....but they still vote democrat over 90% rate....go figure...

As a gun person....if you catch a criminal, regardless of race, with a gun...lock them up...try to explain that to the democrats in Chicago....we had 2 guys shoot up a park last year...they were both out on parole and had previous gun violations...I think they both got boot camp instead of jail time and were released just days before they shot up the park.....

Lock up violent criminals...that is the type of gun control I support...it also saves black lives....
