It could influence them if the giver is showing support for a party/politician via apparel or spoken words. Stop playing dumb.Handing a thirsty man a bottle of water is not buying votes

Next thing you know, they'll want voting booths in their cells. This was obvious to anyone with a functioning brain. The hysterical dingbats on the left fall for this type of nonsensical propaganda all the time.ONLY CAMPAIGN WORKERS CANNOT GIVE OUT ANYTHING OF VALUE, LEST IT BE CONSIDERED A BRIBE.
Which is no different then other states...such as NY, or for that matter Minn, who has an outright ban on anyone even approaching a voter in line...let alone hand them water. Each of you are free to bring your own water, and you can hand it to her before you get 150 feet from the poll station.Poll workers and other people in line can give out water.
The law is absolutely clear on the matter that it would be illegal for me to share my water with my wife:
The complete section:
nor shall any person give, offer to give, or participate in the giving of any money or gifts,
including, but not limited to, food and drink, to an elector,
The media has been holding Biden responsible for everything, from border mess to this. Every day.
FOUR PINOCCHIOS
Liberal fact-checker blasts Biden for false claim about new Ga. voting law
Biden repeatedly claimed last week a law signed by Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, R., would make it harder for working-class people to vote. Biden doubled down the following day in a written statement: "Among the outrageous parts of this new state law, it ends voting hours early so working people can’t cast their vote after their shift is over."
"One could understand a flub in a news conference. But then this same claim popped up in an official presidential statement. Not a single expert we consulted who has studied the law understood why Biden made this claim, as this was the section of law that expanded early voting for many Georgians.... Biden may have gotten confused because the new law clarifies that early voting can be conducted "beginning at 9:00 AM and ending at 5:00 PM," as opposed to the previous framing that simply noted early voting "shall be conducted during normal business hours."
".... but, as noted, the law also allows individual counties to set the hours anywhere between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. So the practical effect of the 5 p.m. reference in the law is minimal," Kessler wrote. "We sought an explanation from the White House for the reason for Biden’s remarks but did not receive an on-the-record response."
"Biden framed his complaint in terms of a slap at working people. The law would ‘end voting at five o’clock when working people are just getting off work’ or ‘ends voting hours early so working people can’t cast their vote after their shift is over,’" he wrote. "Many listeners might assume he was talking about voting on Election Day, not early voting. But Election Day hours were not changed … an additional mandatory day of early voting on Saturday was added and two days of early voting on Sunday were codified as an option for counties.
"Somehow Biden managed to turn that expansion into a restriction aimed at working people, calling it "among the outrageous parts" of the law. There’s no evidence that is the case,"
When a Democrat President gets called out for LYING by a liberal media source, you know its really bad.

It wasn't a lie because Biden believed what he was saying was true. He was going off of the talking points that his handlers give him and he didn't know any better.

How did we survive over 200 years with an "ELECTION DAY." People would make exceptional efforts to go to cast their votes. Now, democrats can't be bothered to walk across the street or climb out of their graves to vote.

and here is NY's law: Any person who…in respect of any election during the hours of voting…gives or provides, or causes to be given or provided, or shall pay, wholly or in part, for any meat, drink, tobacco, refreshment or provision to or for any person, other than [poll workers and other voting officials], except any such meat, drink, tobacco, refreshment or provision having a retail value of less than one dollar, which is given or provided to any person in a polling place without any identification of the person or entity supplying such provisions, is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. N.Y. Elec. Law § 17-140
If the water is less then a dollar...good luck finding that in NYC. The reality is this law is no different then many laws across the USA.and here is NY's law: Any person who…in respect of any election during the hours of voting…gives or provides, or causes to be given or provided, or shall pay, wholly or in part, for any meat, drink, tobacco, refreshment or provision to or for any person, other than [poll workers and other voting officials], except any such meat, drink, tobacco, refreshment or provision having a retail value of less than one dollar, which is given or provided to any person in a polling place without any identification of the person or entity supplying such provisions, is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. N.Y. Elec. Law § 17-140
So in the New York law voters are allowed to share their water and numerous other food and refreshments with their wife and/or other voters. As I exhibited, such language is indeed absent from the Georgia law.
Q.E.D.
Of course, it's politicking. What's the difference between handing out flyers (illegal) and handing out water bottles with the name and picture of a candidate within a certain distance of a poll? We all know a large percentage of voters don't have their minds made up who they will vote for until they actually get to the poll.Handing a thirsty man a bottle of water is not buying votesDemocrats believe making buying votes illegal is wrong.Poll workers and other people in line can give out water.
ONLY CAMPAIGN WORKERS CANNOT GIVE OUT ANYTHING OF VALUE, LEST IT BE CONSIDERED A BRIBE.
Not to mention, Campaign workers must stay like 150 feet away from the poll.
Sooooo.....Biden fucking lied at his “presser” as is every single leftist who said GEORGIA MADE IT ILLEGAL TO GIVE PEOPLE WATER!
Fuck you leftist liars
Biden said it was “SICK, SICK” to make it illegal to buy votes.![]()
how would you know??
if a trump supporter is going up and down a long line and handing our anything of value it could lead to a person voting in their favor,,
Good trouble.Poll workers and other people in line can give out water.

That's nice, because there's one thing I can promise you at election time. The lines will be long, and a lot of people not in line will be passing out food, and water, and even offering chairs, and helping people charge their phones.
And there isn't thing one, the state of Georgia, or another state can do about it.
Separation of Church and State? Local Governments giving money directly to minority churches in many cities. Have been for many years. How many of the Church members are of single parent families? And then blame someone else for the problems as we all do. And there is justification for some of it. Issues may have other sides to the story.Republicans in Georgia saw the large number of black churches that made an event out of going as a group to vote after service
Their response?
Ban early voting on Sunday
It was routinely criticized and they backed off
But it shows their intent
