Your complaint is his expertise in Russian negotiations?Corrupt? What does he bring to the table that the others don't? And I know he hasn't been formerly chosen but he is the subject of the day. Is he just being floated as a trial balloon?

Details on this corruption?
Putin loves Trump and his picks...just follow the money
Tillerson’s success within Exxon was attributable in part to the work he has done in Russia. He has forged close relations with both President Vladimir Putin and Igor Sechin, the close Putin ally who runs Rosneft, one of Russia’s oil-and-gas giants.
The main themes of “Private Empire” involved the ways that ExxonMobil saw itself as an independent, transnational corporate sovereign in the world, a power independent of the American government, one devoted firmly to shareholder interests and possessed of its own foreign policy. Exxon’s foreign policy sometimes had more impact on the countries where it operated than did the State Department.

Glenn Waller, the head of ExxonMobil operations in Russia, said on Tuesday that the company will return to its joint oil project with Rosneft in the Russian Arctic once sanctions against Moscow are lifted.

Legislation
Despite Russia's comprehensive anti-corruption legal framework, enforcement is inconsistent and many high-profile arrests are considered symbolic (BTI 2014). The Federal Anti-Corruption Law criminalises active and passive bribery, abuse of office, commercial bribery, trading in influence in the public and private sector, as well as corruption by agents. It obliges companies to affirmatively develop anti-corruption compliance measures, such as mechanisms for cooperation with law enforcement authorities, means for identifying, preventing and resolving conflicts of interest, and adopting a code of professional conduct for all employees. Companies are advised to use our Russian Law Compliance Guide. State and municipal officials, heads of state corporations, law enforcement officials and judges are obliged to report any suspected corruption, and are required to declare their own and their spouse's and children's income and property. The Federal Law No. 230 requires all public servants and employees of state organisations to submit information on the funds spent to acquire property by them and members of their family. It also criminalises conflicts of interest, and extends jurisdiction to the military. The law prohibits facilitation payments and restricts gifts worth more than RUB 3,000 (CMS Legal, 2014). The Federal Security Service (FSB, in Russian) and the Prosecutor General's Office are responsible for fighting corruption.
