Why was Hitler's Workers' Party called Right?

I think there were conservatives and businessmen who were anti-Nazis.

In a way. Sort of.

The battle in German Politics was between the Communists and the Fascists. The Conservatives were afraid of the nation going Communist, and talked Hindenburg into supporting Hitler. The Conservatives believed that Hitler could be manipulated and controlled. After all he was only a Corporal.

That led to the compromise that saw Hitler made Chancellor. After that. Hitler needed to win no more elections. He’d already won. He now controlled Germany. The rest was academic for all intents and purposes. The Conservatives became staunch Nazi’s to keep their position. Or were killed.

Later conservatives in the U.S. used Nazi officials and scientists to counter the Soviets, and when neoconservatism was joined with neoliberalism, was joined by chickenhawks. Both now figure prominently in government, and working for Wall Street.

I see you have studied the buzzword dictionary.

This is what it sounds like.

Now. Yes some Nazis came over. We grabbed some. Russia grabbed others. The most famous is Werner Von Braun. As far as people adapting to their ideals. Not so much.

At the same time the space program was pouring money at these former Nazi’s, we were passing the Civil Rights Act. Protecting the rights of Minorities instead of segregating and ostracizing them.

And if you study the history of NASA you see that Von Braun’s power peaked during Mercury. After that it continued to diminish as years and others became involved. By the time Apollo was in full swing the former Nazi’s were reduced to Technical work. Mostly around Huntsville.

But a lot of Foreign born people were involved in science based projects. In another thread I pointed out that Hitler’s desire for a Super-weapon was hamstring before it got going. Hitler ran the Jewish scientists out of the country thus eliminating his chances of making an Atomic Bomb. Those same scientists were instrumental in making the bomb for us.

It gets even better: various U.S. businesses were working with the Nazis even during the war.

Also, the Nazis got several of their ideas from the U.S.

You can see similar contradictions today.

Goebbels and Himmler were big fans of the Strasserites, who in turn were bug fans of this:

Hitler himself had no ideology, he was just a sociopath who gave great speeches and know how to manipulate and use arrogant Junkers like Goering to achieve money and power. Goebbels and Himmler merely made themselves useful to him to survive, is all. His private army was bigger than the other private armies, and much bigger than the Wehrmacht, a stupid idea from the Versailles Treaty that limited the Army to 100,000 men, utterly inadequate to maintain order and shut down the street gangs.

As an example the hired street thugs the Democratic Party fields are performing similar duties here in the U.S. The only reason they're not as visible is because the Party already controls a wide swath of judicial benches and Congressional seats and can send opposition people wit impunity already. If they lose that then their thugs will be unleashed on the streets same as the Nazis were. The GOP has no similar sized street army. We're already a left wing banana republic. The elites of both Parties actually agree on most things dealing with uppity proles and monopoly capitalism.

There were numerous social and political organizations and movements within Germany after World War One; many with origins from before the War; and some with occult and/or theosophical linkages as well. Many of these organizations had key members whom were part of the military, industrial, and/or business elements of German society, hence when Hitler was assigned to investigate a "workers party" and became more interested personally to join in a more active role, he had backers with connections ready to support him since he showed impressive speaking skills and leadership potential.

Hitler was not a 'lone wolf' rogue whom found and seized power of his own accord. He had "handlers" whom encouraged and used his potential initially, not realizing he would eventually severe the "puppet strings" and start his own course. Aspects and events in his life pre-war as well as his book he later wrote show he had an ideology and agenda gestating through the first few decades of the century.

The rituals and symbolisms of the NSDAP/Nazis reflect the influence and/or foundations~influence of occultism-mysticism in the formation of that party~movement. Thule and Vril are some of the major ones suggested by some researchers.

The Thule Society (/ˈtuːlə/; German: Thule-Gesellschaft), originally the Studiengruppe für germanisches Altertum ("Study Group for Germanic Antiquity"), was a German occultist and Völkisch group founded in Munich shortly after World War I, named after a mythical northern country in Greek legend. The society is notable chiefly as the organization that sponsored the Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (DAP; German Workers' Party), which was later reorganized by Adolf Hitler into the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP or Nazi Party). According to Hitler biographer Ian Kershaw, the organization's "membership list ... reads like a Who's Who of early Nazi sympathizers and leading figures in Munich", including Rudolf Hess, Alfred Rosenberg, Hans Frank, Julius Lehmann, Gottfried Feder, Dietrich Eckart, and Karl Harrer.[2]

Author Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke contends that Hans Frank and Rudolf Hess had been Thule members, but other leading Nazis had only been invited to speak at Thule meetings or they were entirely unconnected with it.[3][4] According to Johannes Hering, "There is no evidence that Hitler ever attended the Thule Society."[5]

Vril: The Power of the Coming Race (originally published simply as The Coming Race) is a novel by Edward Bulwer-Lytton, published anonymously in 1871.

Some readers have believed the account of a superior subterranean master race and the energy-form called "Vril", the name of which is a shortened version of "virile". Some theosophists, notably Helena Blavatsky, William Scott-Elliot, and Rudolf Steiner, accepted the book as based on occult truth, in part.[4] One 1960 book, The Morning of the Magicians by Jacques Bergier and Louis Pauwels, suggested that a secret Vril Society existed in Weimar Berlin.

The association of Nazism with occultism occurs in a wide range of theories, speculation, and research into the origins of Nazism and into Nazism's possible relationship with various occult traditions. Such ideas have flourished as a part of popular culture since at least the early 1940s (during World War II), and gained renewed popularity starting in the 1960s. Historian Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke analyzed the topic in his 1985 book The Occult Roots of Nazism, in which he argued there were in fact links between some ideals of Ariosophy and Nazi ideology. He also analyzed the problems of the numerous popular occult historiography books written on the topic. Goodrick-Clarke sought to separate empiricism and sociology from the modern mythology of Nazi occultism that exists in many books which "have represented the Nazi phenomenon as the product of arcane and demonic influence".[1] He evaluated most of the 1960 to 1975 books on Nazi occultism as "sensational and under-researched".[2]

It's meaningless to say whether National Socialism is Left or Right without defining the terms Left and Right.

Hitler and Stalin were birds of a feather.
For me personally, the attitude toward Stalin is a test of a person's level of intelligence.
I can't remember who said it, but you couldn't have said it better:
"Stalin is a mirror.
Everyone sees himself in him.
Communists see Stalin as a great figure of the Communist зarty.
The patriots see him as a selfless man who left behind a worn tunic, a pair of boots, a library of 20,000 volumes with his own handwritten notes and a superpower.
The Imperials see him as the Red Monarch, the builder and leader of the New Empire.
The military see him as a brilliant military leader.
Russian nationalists see him as a man of кussian culture, who said the best words in history about the Russian people.
Philosophers see him as a genius of all times and peoples.

And scoundrels and see him as a scoundrel.

Why was Hitler's Workers' Party called Right?

It wasn't. That came much later when dishonest Democratic party of slavery operatives gaslighted their extraordinarily stupid dupes into believing it.

The Nazi's are and were always a hardcore leftist party.

The only people who believe the Nazi's are right wing are very low IQ and therefore very easily brainwashed idiots.

Hitler split from the Socialists in 1926. In 1933 Hitler purged the German government of Socialists, Communists, Jews and Democrats.

Finally I solved this paradox.

Hitler's "socialism" was a fiction. The First International was indeed right-wing, it was progressivism. The proletarians of the world united in the fight against corporations and sought ownership of the means of production.

The swastika was one of the symbols of this struggle. The proletariat was really right.
The swastika came from America in the roaring 20s, it had nothing to do with pan-Germanism and Prussianism. Apparently, Hitler was just a front for the behind-the-scenes struggle between the Prussians and the Americans.

The left wing of the Workers' Party was the opposite side. They defended the Marxist model, which was inherited from Von Bismarck's Junker socialism.

Apparently throughout WW2 there was a struggle and there was no single German National Socialism. Power was taken alternately by right and left. All the events of the war depended on which wing was in the Reichstag at the current moment.
/———/ One side note, The swastika has a long, complex history – much older than its association with Nazi Germany – dating back to prehistoric times. The emblem was a sign of well-being and long life, and was found everywhere, from the tombs of early Christians to the catacombs of Rome and the Lalibela Rock Churches, to the Cathedral of Cordoba. "The motif appears to have first been used in Eurasia, as early as 7,000 years ago, perhaps representing the movement of the sun through the sky… as a symbol of wellbeing in ancient societies," says the Holocaust Encyclopedia.- Wikipedia

The Swastika is much, much older than the 1920s.

We are socialists, we are enemies of today’s capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are determined to destroy this system under all conditions

-Hitler
It's amazing that Americans even a hundred years later can't recognize/understand the simple difference between taking people (voters) for stupid and the true agenda of Nazism.

Hitler was never in alliance with a socialist party - he attended meetings of the German Workers’ Party in 1919 - to spy and inform his employer - the Reichswehr
In 1920 Hitler took over most of those party members and rebranded it NSDAP.

Hitler then formulated a 25 point program in 1920. The program would remain the Party’s only platform. Among its points, it rejected the Versailles settlement. It also demanded to unify all people of German “blood.” The program called for a Greater Germany ruled by a strong central state. The country was to acquire new lands and colonies. The program would deny citizenship and rights to all non-Germans, particularly Jews.

I don't really care for, or about Wiki - there isn't a single primary source that would indicate - not even to mention proof, that Hitler was ever a member or in alliance with a socialist party.

Many parties at the time incorporated the term worker or social into their party name - in order to recruit nationalists or national motivated people away from socialist and communist parties.
Hitler was know for hating and detesting the aristocracy - it was the Weimar government (social democrats) that had taken away aristocratic privileges - and Hitler also wanted to take credit for that, hence branding them as the true capitalists - (being against the workers) - and the workers were his foremost prey - before the NSDAP became attractive to the bourgeoisie.
