There were. Most conservatives and businessmen gave reluctant support to the Nazis.I think there were conservatives and businessmen who were anti-Nazis.
I think there were conservatives and businessmen who were anti-Nazis.
In a way. Sort of.
The battle in German Politics was between the Communists and the Fascists. The Conservatives were afraid of the nation going Communist, and talked Hindenburg into supporting Hitler. The Conservatives believed that Hitler could be manipulated and controlled. After all he was only a Corporal.
That led to the compromise that saw Hitler made Chancellor. After that. Hitler needed to win no more elections. He’d already won. He now controlled Germany. The rest was academic for all intents and purposes. The Conservatives became staunch Nazi’s to keep their position. Or were killed.
Later conservatives in the U.S. used Nazi officials and scientists to counter the Soviets, and when neoconservatism was joined with neoliberalism, was joined by chickenhawks. Both now figure prominently in government, and working for Wall Street.
I see you have studied the buzzword dictionary.
This is what it sounds like.
Now. Yes some Nazis came over. We grabbed some. Russia grabbed others. The most famous is Werner Von Braun. As far as people adapting to their ideals. Not so much.
At the same time the space program was pouring money at these former Nazi’s, we were passing the Civil Rights Act. Protecting the rights of Minorities instead of segregating and ostracizing them.
And if you study the history of NASA you see that Von Braun’s power peaked during Mercury. After that it continued to diminish as years and others became involved. By the time Apollo was in full swing the former Nazi’s were reduced to Technical work. Mostly around Huntsville.
But a lot of Foreign born people were involved in science based projects. In another thread I pointed out that Hitler’s desire for a Super-weapon was hamstring before it got going. Hitler ran the Jewish scientists out of the country thus eliminating his chances of making an Atomic Bomb. Those same scientists were instrumental in making the bomb for us.
For me personally, the attitude toward Stalin is a test of a person's level of intelligence.Hitler and Stalin were birds of a feather.
Why was Hitler's Workers' Party called Right?
It wasn't. That came much later when dishonest Democratic party of slavery operatives gaslighted their extraordinarily stupid dupes into believing it.
The Nazi's are and were always a hardcore leftist party.
The only people who believe the Nazi's are right wing are very low IQ and therefore very easily brainwashed idiots.
/———/ One side note, The swastika has a long, complex history – much older than its association with Nazi Germany – dating back to prehistoric times. The emblem was a sign of well-being and long life, and was found everywhere, from the tombs of early Christians to the catacombs of Rome and the Lalibela Rock Churches, to the Cathedral of Cordoba. "The motif appears to have first been used in Eurasia, as early as 7,000 years ago, perhaps representing the movement of the sun through the sky… as a symbol of wellbeing in ancient societies," says the Holocaust Encyclopedia.- WikipediaFinally I solved this paradox.
Hitler's "socialism" was a fiction. The First International was indeed right-wing, it was progressivism. The proletarians of the world united in the fight against corporations and sought ownership of the means of production.
The swastika was one of the symbols of this struggle. The proletariat was really right.
The swastika came from America in the roaring 20s, it had nothing to do with pan-Germanism and Prussianism. Apparently, Hitler was just a front for the behind-the-scenes struggle between the Prussians and the Americans.
The left wing of the Workers' Party was the opposite side. They defended the Marxist model, which was inherited from Von Bismarck's Junker socialism.
Apparently throughout WW2 there was a struggle and there was no single German National Socialism. Power was taken alternately by right and left. All the events of the war depended on which wing was in the Reichstag at the current moment.

It's amazing that Americans even a hundred years later can't recognize/understand the simple difference between taking people (voters) for stupid and the true agenda of Nazism. We are socialists, we are enemies of today’s capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are determined to destroy this system under all conditions

Hitler was never in alliance with a socialist party - he attended meetings of the German Workers’ Party in 1919 - to spy and inform his employer - the ReichswehrHitler split from the Socialists in 1926. In 1933 Hitler purged the German government of Socialists, Communists, Jews and Democrats.

In 1920 Hitler took over most of those party members and rebranded it NSDAP.
Hitler then formulated a 25 point program in 1920. The program would remain the Party’s only platform. Among its points, it rejected the Versailles settlement. It also demanded to unify all people of German “blood.” The program called for a Greater Germany ruled by a strong central state. The country was to acquire new lands and colonies. The program would deny citizenship and rights to all non-Germans, particularly Jews.

That the Nazis were a smidgen to the right of the Marxists still leaves them firmly on the left.
I don't really care for, or about Wiki - there isn't a single primary source that would indicate - not even to mention proof, that Hitler was ever a member or in alliance with a socialist party.Cultural Marxism conspiracy theory - Wikipedia
