Why would Disney construct a manmade beach, where gators roam, for kids

In light of this tragedy it is clear that we must pass highly restrictive gator control laws. Some people may say that the gators will not comply, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't at least try it.
Is this really a joking matter?
The OP is a joking matter as is any fucking moron who wants to abolish Disneyland or any other American business because of a tragic accident by local wild life.
Disney was bought by Walt Disney for peanuts because it was SWAMPLAND THAT NO ONE WANTED. It was a mistake, as was draining the Everglades, you do know that the glades are being reflooded to save vanishing wildlife right?

to play on? And is Florida going to allow this practice to continue, and most of all are Democrats filibustering to ban kids on beaches? After fatal attack, Florida theme parks weigh alligator warnings

So Florida theme parks are weighing posting alligator warnings.................WHATTTTTTTTTT

This is literally the plot of Jaws word for word, minus the shark plus a gator.

It's sickening, Disney ought to be leveled.

Walt Disney World opened in 1972 -- never been an issue.

Beach has signs - No Swimming.

Walt Disney World employs 70,000 people and has an annual payroll of 1.2 billion.

You'd level it because of a tragic accident?

It is not a local wildlife scene. It is a resort with an artificial lake built into a swamp. This is sort of like Jurassic Park. Except they did not have to clone the carnivores from fossilized cells

You should write a real nasty letter to the Governor of Florida.

As if he would give up Disney tax dollars to save another kid.

Want to save lives? Keep Nebraskans out of Florida.

There is no danger of DW being leveled. But the signage is inadequate and also low-key so as to provide a sense of security to families without actually informing them of active carnivorous reptiles within feet of where they stand.

Actually if the Government gets it's way Disney may be under water, as the flood control canals are being filled in to save a fragile ecosystem, that SHOULD NOT INCLUDE 2 YEAR OLDS Restoration of the Everglades - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It worked for 45 years for Disney.............until it didn't. :dunno:
Not so fast. It happened in 1988.

Nice, so the parents settle and the kid doesn't even get a trust fund. Must be Republicans.

The parents and their remaining children and their grandchildren and their great-grandchildren will never have to work a day in their life. I suspect the settlement will be in the hundreds of millions because there is obvious neglect by Disney. There is a big difference between "no swimming" and "live alligators".

People die every day. Tragedies happen every day. Becoming aware of this particular one is no reason to sink into depression over someone I've never met in life and whom I'd otherwise be 100% unaware of their existence ever. Do you have a cry every single day for all the tragic deaths you never hear about?

Disney will pay off the appropriate Congress people, local legislative folks and carry on.

Have you ever lost a child to a senseless and meaningless death?

It's news because people don't pay out the ass to go to Disney World and die.

Oh, that's rich! if Trump is president, tort lawyers will be appointed to the Supreme Court. He has 3,500 tort action before U.S. courts. These poor folks will be lucky to get $5 million and their tort lawyer gets 40%.

What are you, a communist?

It's a free country. What kind of fucking moron goes wading in a gator-infested lake? I lived in Florida for 11 years. Wherever there is a body of water, and the water table is about a foot underground, there will be gators.
These people lived in Nebraska and paid umpteen thousands of dollars to stay at that hotel and have a beach for their son to play on.

As people have done, coming from all over the world and nothing happened. Disney does have signs telling people NO SWIMMING, that there is a sharp drop off near shore.

Disney will pay millions and update their signs.

Stay home and don't go to Disneyworld. It is an incredible attraction although a crapehanger such as yourself would undoubtedly be miserable. That's what you live for!

Disney is retarded Mickey Mouse and Cinderella stroll around and NO CHILD UNDER 25 YEARS OLD HAS ANY IDEA WHAT THEY ARE IN THE FIRST PLACE. IT'S RETARDED.

The new signs should say NO KIDS ALLOWED

We have thousands of golf courses in Florida too. All golf courses have water hazards. At least 90% of those golf courses have...ta da...alligators, poison snakes, turtles and a few crocodiles thrown in for good measure. Then if you go in the Gulf of Mexico or the Atlantic Ocean, there are also snakes, crocodiles, sharks, sting rays, jelly fish that sting and oh yes, the Bull Shark, one who attacks humans and can also exist in fresh water.
