There is NO excuse to not use birth control in the world we live today.. NONE ZERO.. First point. No fetus has survived prior to the 22nd week of gestation.

Even this anti-abortion website admits that less than 1.2% of abortions are performed after 21 weeks. Most of those are for good, sound medical reasons.

92% are performed in the first trimester, when the fetus is less than an inch long.

So while the Late Abortion (not late term, as the fetus never comes to term) is great for pulling emotional strings as the resulting fetus actually kind of sort of looks like a baby, for most women this isn't an issue.
