And you are talking about a "version" that was corrected three days later.

The real story that neither Issa or you guys followed..was that the CIA had an annex in the consulate and may have been holding prisoners.

But of course..that doesn't get you the impeachment you folks want. In fact..it opens up some pretty troubling issues.

That's the way the State Department operates with all of its talking points. Anything that isn't 100% confirmed or may be sensitive information is cut. Most talking points are edited by almost a dozen people before they get passed. So soon after the attack, the State Department tactic would be to be as general as possible pending further information. Secretary Clinton also never blamed the attack on the video, she was vague until later that month when she asserted that it was the work of a group linked to AQIM.

It's pretty standard procedure.

As a government spokesperson on the matter she was given a set of talking points which she delivered flawlessly. Of course with any public statement to the press on such matters, since it is assumed that the enemy will also hear the statement, the entire truth of the government knowledge of the incident is never revealed, that would be even more careless than the Fauxrageous claims that this tragedy is somehow a scandal.

Whatever you call it, the film can still be considered a contributing factor. Whether the film was a direct cause or a smokescreen used by the terrorists, nothing said about it rises to the level of impeachable offense. That's the bottom line.
