No doubt D voters are highly motivated by their hatred of Don. Their problem is Biden is to the right of Trump and clearly showing signs of senility. They think Don the worst EVER, so Biden has to be better. I tend to think Don is bad, but Biden even worse or about the same.

It does concern me that Biden is the democratic nominee. The party could do so much better. However, what gives me comfort is knowing how self-destructive Trump is. I can’t imagine the campaign ads Democrat super pacs and the DNC will churn out. They would be so effective. All they would have to do is quote Trump in full context on a variety of issues. There would be no need for any quote to be out of context or be twisted to mean something false. Trump makes himself into an idiot all by itself.

Now granted Trump has changed all the rules since his 2016 election. 10 years ago, if a presidential nominee had mocked a physically disabled reporter at a rally, he would be out of the race in 10 seconds. How Trump changed all that is beyond my understanding but it is what it is.

Nowadays, though, all we have to do is highlight the last 3.5 years of his policy failures and quote him verbatim. It’s a simpler time in that sense at least.

Trump gained 7% of Bernie supporters last time, I simply cannot see a scenario when this number goes down. Especially with the anger they are feeling about the Dem Primary process which left many of them with a bad taste in their mouths.

Thinking Biden better than Trump is your first mistake. I know you think Trump worse than Stalin, but Biden is no better. He’s to the right of Trump (he has a lengthy voting record to prove it) and is senile. Of course the msm will treat him with respect and cover up for him. I disagree with that. The number of voters in the Democrat Presidential primaries has increased substantially. That has benefitted Biden. The fact that many voters withheld their absentee ballots until after SC shows they were likely Biden supporters as well.

The reason why Trump won in 2016 was the weakness of Clinton. Weak turnout in the primaries and Sanders' doing better than expected shows this. It is clear that many of the votes Sanders received were anti-Hillary voters rather than pro-Sanders voters. Voters hated both candidates and that hurt Clinton the most. Fewer voters supported Clinton. Clinton won Colorado but got fewer than Romney did in losing Colorado. Minnesota was close because Trump got a few more votes than Romney but Clinton received fewer votes than Obama did in 2016.

Today is a different story. Suburban voters reluctantly supported Trump in 2016. However today they are supporting Democrats. Women are likely to support Biden in greater numbers than they supported Clinton. Voters oppose Republicans on environmental issues, immigration issues, border security and healthcare to name a few things.

Can you list the policy failures, or compare them with what his opponents wanted him to do?

Trade deals are bad?
A border wall and no longer allowing stop and frisk but having asylum seekers from Mexico wait in their own country rather than a free ride to illegally enter?
Confronting China, hitting them with tariffs and forcing them to sign a Phase 1 deal?
Deregulation and tax cuts?
Making global socialists increase significantly their dues to NATO?
How about stopping travel from China while others called it racist to do so? How many lives did that save?

All of these policies and decisions are each big deals. Each and every one of them, and they are EXACTLY what an Establishment leader would NOT do. All of these successes even while impeachment proceeding, a 2 year Russia investigation and constant "resistance". That's the fighter America and the West needs.

The fact that it literally took a global pandemic (conveniently timed as it were) to hurt the U.S economy, says alot. Canada was growing at 0.4%, Europe not much better, while the U.S was 2.5%. while at the same time smacking the communists around.

I may not like all that Trump says and he sometimes does things to hurt himself, but policies are what matter. Who cares about plastic smiling politicians who hang out with other plastic politicians at fancy dinner parties on the taxpayers dime? Protect your citizens, your economy from communists and your sovereignty ffs. Is that too much to ask, or should we all just assume Western liberty is finished for good and bow to the self assigned elite overlords of government?

We need America to succeed, even the dumb shytes in Canada and the E.U who think they have a clue (as long as they are living off others) will eventually realize this fact. There is no future for Western liberalism and democracy which so many fought for if we allow the Communists and global socialist to buy off politicians and influence. How is this more appealing than an imperfect businessman who actually acts and gets things done? You prefer 40 year political careers over fresh approaches that actually work?

Some people say they don't understand how intelligent, educated people can support Trump, I say I don't understand how any intelligent, educated person can't see the inevitable destruction of the West if the policies of old are continued.

The TPP would have reduced tariffs on thousands of American products. While the treaty needed more work, it was a good deal for America. Trump walked away from it.

Trump was given no such authorization by Congress to implement such a policy but unfortunately we have crooked judges appointed by Republicans. Interesting to see what happens when Democrats win and they start doing the same things that Trump did. You people will be squealing like pigs. Americans agree we don't need any new immigration laws.

Tariffs are taxes on Americans. China signed a deal Trump could have had much sooner.

Allowing companies to pollute our air and water. Allowing financial advisors to cheat their clients. That is what you mean by deregulation. Tax cuts mean the rich get the bulk of the tax cuts.

Obama had already gotten NATO countries to increase their defense spending.

Trump dithered for weeks saying the coronavirus was no big deal. Voters trust Cuomo more than they trust trump on the pandemic.

The fact is that Trump runs the most corrupt administration we have seen in modern day history. Numerous lobbyists have been hired by Trump and many of them oversee the very areas they lobbied in. The rich and powerful have been the biggest winners in this Administration.

Trump represents the alt-right that is attempting to spread hate through this country. The reason why Biden will win is because he is talking about reaching across the aisle.
