I'm sure it will help, but when I left Turlock eight years ago, the ground water level had gone down so far that the many of the aquifers were collapsing. It may take a few years to replenish a loss like that---if it ever comes back.

I-80 closures happen most every year. CalTrans will have it cleared in short order.

50 will remain closed for awhile. 80, OTOH, is the major east/west corridor into the state and it won't be closed for long--unless Newsom sticks his incompetent nose into it.

Yup, the population of the valley just keeps increasing. Been saying since the 70s that if they keep paving over the most productive ag ground in the country, we would eventually starve. The only crop that is increasing is the crop of houses.

British Columbia is on it's way to setting new snow records already!

Folsom Lake is a very shallow lake and it will fill in a day with a decent rain storm. The water managers on the American River know their job. With the current snowfall in the Sierra, they could drain and fill that lake numerous times between now and the end of the melt.

It all flows into the ocean, because California hasn't built any water storage infrastructure in 40 years. They WANT it this way.
