Can the Bernie cult put him in the White House?

Sanders could never get his socialist policies past into law. That's just another reason why I think he's full of hot air.

It’s difficult to imagine any of Sanders’ major policy proposals passing in the Senate without a change to the chamber’s longstanding 60-vote threshold.

Bernie Sanders Says He's 'Not Crazy About Getting Rid Of The Filibuster'
None of the Democrat candidates currently could get their socialist policies passed. Trump will be victorious whoever the nominee is.

Last I heard, there are many Republican Senators up for reelection in 2020. However, even with a Democratic controlled Congress - I seriously doubt that Bernie's radical socialist agenda could become law. I prefer a healthy mix of capitalism and socialism like we have now - except I would prefer that capitalism be more strictly regulated. For those of you who may not be aware - the Trump Administration is weakening Medicare and older folks are getting screwed. Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage is a prime example.

I don't think so! I admit that a Bernie cult is better than a Trump cult - but America is not ready for a radical socialist in the White House. What do you think?

Bernie Sanders Raised $4 Million In First 12 Hours After Announcing 2020 Presidential Bid

Nearly 150,000 people have donated so far to the Vermont senator’s second run for the White House.

Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-Vt.) second bid for the White House is barely out the gate, but the lawmaker already has a formidable war chest after leveraging the support of small donors who propelled him to the top of the Democratic pack in 2016.

Sanders has raised more than $4 million from nearly 150,000 people in the 12 hours since he announced his run, campaign officials said Tuesday. The number far surpasses other prominent Democrats who have launched their own bids and is more than double the $1.5 million raised by Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) in her first 24 hours.

“The only way we will win this election and create a government and economy that work for all is with a grassroots movement ― the likes of which has never been seen in American history,” Sanders said in a message to supporters on Tuesday. “They may have the money and power. We have the people.”

The senator’s campaign said the average size of the donations, about $27, mirrored the small-scale support seen in 2016.

The Democratic field is already crowded. A dozen people have launched campaigns, and several prominent names, including former Vice President Joe Biden, are still mulling their own bids.

He would be there right now if the DNC hadn't interfered.

Please provide "credible" proof that the DNC prevented Bernie from beating Hillary - and that Bernie could have beaten Trump. All that Bernie bullshit is just an urban legend.

Sorry dude, read Brazille's book. Warren has had a few things to say as well.

Brazile says financial mismanagement at the DNC led to a party on the verge of financial collapse, saved only by an agreement with Clinton in which the campaign would raise money for the DNC in exchange for control over its decisions.

Brazile has no credibility. She helped screw Hillary in 2008. And Warren is a dingbat.

Stephen Colbert Trolls 'Old White Guy' Bernie Sanders Over Tone-Deaf Diversity Comments

Sanders is a creepy old man.

I have this low IQ liberal on ignore, but please run low energy Bernie (the Socialist) Sanders, who owns three $600,000 houses, not willing to share them with the rest of you, will be a very good comparison with one guy who has Made America Great Again, the other one a flaming hypocrite with a hunchback..

I agree. No way Bernie would ever be elected. He wants everyone to have everything at someone else's expense.

He's a socialist that want the hard working to pay for the useless and freeloaders.

No way would he ever be elected.

No one else has the same credibility on progressive issues, say his diehard backers.

Why Bernie Sanders’ Supporters Say He's Still The Right Choice For 2020

The Bernie cult is as dumb as the Trump cult. They should focus their energy and passion on a candidate who can actually beat Trump.

This mindset of yours is literally the problem with this country. You don't like candidates because "they give you the willies".

You're no better than Trump supporters. Sad.

You would vote for him. LOL. So what does that say about you?

The problem the Democrats have with so many candidates in the race, is trying not to get drawn to far left (socialism) before the general. I think Biden is the odds on favorite right now and he is sorta the adult in the room of other candidates. His dirty laundry has already been cleaned so to speak. A guy like Bernie can energize the socialists in the DNC base, but I doubt he can win a general election with that platform. On the other hand, Ole Joe is not going to excite the Bernie backers to vote in a general. This DNC primary could be every bit as much fun to watch as the RNC primary was last time.

Oh so you had no idea Bernie is a socialist??

A socialist who wants everyone to have everything but expects those working to pay for it??

If you missed it. Then you have no clue what you are talking about. At least you are consistent.

Just confirmed you don't know what Bernie's platform is nor what a socialist is.

It's almost as if you're trying intentionally to be ignorant, but I know you're not. Not sure if that's better or worse though.

Apparently you don't know what a socialist is.

Oh and I couldn't care less what you think.

Carry on self important. LOL

you sure seem to know all about yourself as a dumbass, thinking that Socialism works. Please anytime you feel like it point out how well Socialism worked for the USSR, East German, Hungary, Cuba, Venezuela, Detroit, Illinois, Californication, or NYC?
