All of those civil rights laws were passed by Whites and Jews in Congress and the Presidency, not King. Rosa Parks was on the "back of the bus", not King. The 14th Amendment existed long before King, long before the "civil rights movement". None of his goals were achieved? Blacks cannot be banned from lunch counters. They cannot be stopped from registering to vote. They cannot be kept from public schools and public universities. They cannot be forced to the back of the bus.
They are equal in the eyes of the law. And that is a huge difference between how it was before MLK and after.
