City of Anaheim forces private venue to cancel conservative rally

Orange County isn't a conservative bastion anymore. Immigration from Los Angeles and San Diego counties have changed that. Coastal California South of Marin County is almost all liberal. the conservatives only exist in the hinterlands inland and the far north of California.
You are correct with regard to 2020. The locals there were pissed!
Perhaps they were just smart enough to loathe the Trumpster Dumpster!?

No, it was a PRIVATE venue and the city forced the PRIVATE venue to cancel the rally.

Let me ask you this. Based on your "logic", the federal government can prevent people from protesting on a federal property because they "own" that property and, therefore, it's their "right", correct?
Your thread premise is a lie; conservatives are completely dishonest and reprehensible.

The city didn't force the private venue to cancel the rally. The private venue owners made that decision.
If that was true, the City wouldnt have made an official statement that said it was cancelled because "it doesnt align the cities values".

You need to reread the statement.

You didnt highlight the end of their statement. Also, they are of course referring to the left wing violence that would show up at this rally. So because left wingers will attack right wingers, they censor right wingers? Im amazed that anyone would support this kind of stuff.

I didn't highlight the end of the statement because it was the venue operator who made the decision to cancel, not the city.

You say that about the bakers who won't bake the fag cake. Double Standards much?
And the courts sided with the baker. If you support the way the baker's case turned out, it would be a double standard to deny the venue manager the same right.

If that was true, the city wouldnt have made an official statement saying they banned them because of potential violence and the fact that they disagreed with their values. They hung themselves when they sent out that tweet.

Because the city disagrees with the "values" of those attending and speaking. Maybe the left will one day achieve its ultimate goal wherein only a handful of party elites are permitted to express ideas.

This is Orange County, the home of the John Birch Society. If Orange County turned blue, it will be because the Republican Party has moved so far right, that the people cannot accept the hate, racism and fear mongering of Trumpism.
