Civil War?

Are you sure they're not? Why are they against universal background checks and banning assault weapons, which are completely unnecessary to self defense or even good hunting?
Reasonable people can disagree over what constitutes an "assault weapon". At any rate they are hardly for doing away with all regulations regarding guns.

Can you name a single regulation the NRA is in favor of?

The 2nd Amendment.

Thank you. You just demonstrated either your inability to understand the subject, or your childish pride of being an idiot gun nut. Either way, it was completely expected.

The 2nd Amendment regulates the federal government on the issue of firearms. The NRA is in favor of it. Ergo, your whining is vain nonsense at best.

Oh shut up gun nut. The NRA vehemently opposes all gun regulations.

Seems that Wayne Lapierre and Oliver North are fighting over the bones of an NRA that has seen its contributions lag in the face of opposition that increased because of recent mass shootings.

Wall Street Journal: NRA chief executive says he was pressured to resign by group's president - CNNPolitics

They are, it’s been going on for years. If you are anti NRA, you want Wane Lapierre to win. He is the most effective drag on the NRA you could ever have.
LaPierre is a prick. You got that one right.

‘…the NRA is viewed by some as a pillar of the far-right conservative movement more focused on demagoguing than representing the beliefs of gun owners. No wonder 67% of the gun owners in a poll we conducted in 2017 feel that the NRA has been "overtaken by lobbyists and the interests of gun manufacturers and lost its original purpose and mission."’

True.

Oh....CNN :icon_rolleyes: Okay, whatever.

If people are truly dissatisfied with the NRA you can expect to see a mass exodus from the organization.
I haven't seen that yet.

How would you know? The NRA doesn't give any information about it's membership.

Lol
Na, not really
The NRA is not pro-gun enough if anything... dumbass

I hate to state the obvious, but just like Donald Trump tweeted a few days ago, The South really won, but Northern liberals cheated by tricking the south into giving up their guns. If the south had not given up their guns and surrendered, they would have won.
