The Second Amendment safeguards solely the individual right of citizens to possess a firearm pursuant to lawful self-defense – not to defend against ‘tyranny.’

There is nothing in the history, text, or case law of the Second Amendment that supports the idiotic, wrongheaded nonsense that is insurrectionist dogma.

Defense against "Tyranny," is self defense you moron........when a government begins to enslave and murder the citizens, it is self defense to fight against the government...you moron.

If C Clayton Jones, would do research (Federalist Papers) and public letters by the founding father's reason for creating the very next Amendment after the first, to be about firearms, Jones would understand that it is about citizens being able to form militias to fight against any tyrannical government in order to help maintain a "free" state. So, if a foreign military were to invade or our central government were to become a Marxist Communist one, citizens in states that refuse to live under oppressive Marxist Communist rule, can and should rise up to defend their state in an effort to keep it free.

Don't get your hopes up that your pitiful stash of legal weapons would turn you into Rambo in the unlikely scenario of some sort of armed border invasion. It will only get you in the way of the professionals and likely get you killed. The Ukraine invasion has nothing to do with the 2nd Amendment.

I would say only a fraction of the people defending the Ukraine from the Russian invasion are professionals. The 2nd Amendment was written specifically for a defense against a tyrannical government and invasion from a foreign threat. Everything the Ukrainian people are facing now.
