I am very much concerned that HHS under the Biden Administration will try to expand federal Medicaid payments to Oregon to cover the increased costs of what amounts to UHC. They are going to try to put all of us on the hook for Universal Health Care in Oregon and every other state that wants it. They know they can't get it through Congress, so they'll try it administratively. And my guess is the SCOTUS will shoot it down if it even gets that far. Hopefully.

Oregon voters have narrowly passed a measure that decrees health care a human right.
Measure 111 makes Oregon the first state in the nation to change its constitution to explicitly declare affordable health care a fundamental right.

If you have it because the state forced someone else to give it to you, it's not a right.
