That's what Hitler did. He killed democrats or put them in Dachau.

Hitler was German, and the people he put in Dachau were living in Germany, Poland and throughout Europe at the time.

Democrats are an American political party and none were put in Dachau.

As to the Americans who died fighting him, both Republicans and Denocrats died aplenty. Back then, Americans were smart enough to see him as the enemy rather than each other.
