This is a quote dunny....
FEMA will coordinate with city officials on site to coordinate available support from FEMA and other agencies and funding is also available through FEMA's food and shelter program to support humanitarian aide for migrants...
Karine Jean-Pierre 2022
It was allocated for numerous funds and projects throughout the year. The 20 billion the speaker of the house is asking about... DHS won't give him the details of where they spent 20 billion dollars... he told Mayokas to use that up first... but its gone... or so it seems... where did it go?... its your money too aren't you curious?....
It was allocated for numerous funds and projects throughout the year.
THE YEAR HAS JUST BEGUN.
And the Emergency Relief Fund was NEVER large enough. Congress (Johnson) refused to pass the Supplemental
6 on a good day. He has few of thoseYou realize his IQ is only 6 and he can't understand what you're saying, right?
I did yesterday... it was a side by side of her in 2022 when she said they will use FEMA money and two days ago where she said they are not using any FEMA funds for migrants...Link to that quote, rambtard...
BS. Lankford got taken for a fool's ride. We don't deport illegals. We send them to NY City or some small town in the midwest or keep them in Texas, trying to turn the country blue.Immediately sent back to their home country.
Fyi
Leading up to the vote, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise on social media said the bill “accepts 5,000 illegal immigrants a day.” Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn added her voice to the opposition, posting that she would “never vote to make illegal immigration legal.”
Those comments misrepresented the bill.
The bill stated that temporary border emergency authority would be automatically activated by the Department of Homeland Security secretary if there is an average of 5,000 or more migrant encounters a day over seven consecutive days — or if there are 8,500 or more such encounters on any single day. In December — according to the latest data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection — there was an average of more than 8,000 encounters a day of migrants who crossed the border illegally between points of entry.
“It’s not that the first 5,000 [migrants encountered at the border] are released, that’s ridiculous,” Lankford said on the Senate floor. “The first 5,000 we detain, we screen and then we deport. If we get above 5,000, we just detain and deport.”
Unraveling Misinformation About Bipartisan Immigration Bill - FactCheck.org
Even before a bipartisan group of senators unveiled the text of a foreign aid and immigration overhaul bill on Feb. 4, it faced significant opposition from former President Donald Trump and other Republican leaders. We'll explain what was in the legislation and the facts on two popular talking...www.factcheck.org
You seem to forget that the Executive Branch (President) is charged with ENFORCING the laws that are passed and many Democrats have chosen to simply ignore that responsibility...just like Biden/Harris have done.If we had immigration law already in place as you claim,
then each president would not be given the leeway to do as they please, as it is now....there would be immigration law in place that all presidents follow and would be mandatory to follow.
The laws written are loose as a goose! Each president changes immigration policy like a roller coaster between presidents....
The Senate bill gives no leeway so each president can not do as they please....
And it funds border control increases, increases in detention cells, increase in the immigration courts to address the years of backlog cases, funds strategic border walls, etc etc.
It truly is a really GOOD BILL that addresses every problem....
Nonsense. He has NO authority over the Senate and the Senate must ALSO sign off on any "supplemental spending bills."Actually he does. He is the one who refused to bring relief money for vote. He can recall Congress for that vote.
I didn't post that for the quote stupid... you go find where I posted it more than once two days ago.... its her saying that in 22... and lying two days ago....LOLOLOLOL
Nowhere in there does she say the quote youposted earlier.
You fucking made that up, rambtard.
I haven’t heard the quote but I know she is saying that the SSP fund is used that way and the Emergency Disaster Relief fund is not.I did yesterday... it was a side by side of her in 2022 when she said they will use FEMA money and two days ago where she said they are not using any FEMA funds for migrants...
It never got out of the House… so…Nonsense. He has NO authority over the Senate and the Senate must ALSO sign off on any "supplemental spending bills."
Through FEMA’s Food and shelter program… the SSPA direct quote....
FEMA will coordinate with city officials on site to coordinate available support from FEMA and other agencies and funding is also available through FEMA's food and shelter program to support humanitarian aide for migrants...
