Abe Lincoln thought the blacks to be an inferior race, but he was still against slavery. He did not however end slavery in the USA. Only in the confederate controlled areas of the USA.

What are you talking about? Lincoln was one of the leading proponents and advocates for the 13th amendment. He lead the charge to get it through Congress specifically because he was aware that the Emancipation Proclamation was done based on his discretion under the War Powers Act and only applied to the Confederacy (and not the loyal Southern States) thus be null and void once the war ended.

He took a very active role to get it passed through the House and even bears his signature, which of course is unusual since Presidents don't have to sign amendments.

Unfortunately, his assassination occured before the States finally ratified it. but to pretend that he wasnt a moving force to ending slavery is absurd.

I dont know who the first 2 guys are, and I KNOW that most christians will not vote for Michelle Bachman for president, and I seriously doubt she will be around in the presidential race after the first month of the primaries....she could be another Republicans vp candidate, which could help another candidates run about as much as sarah palin helped mccain....some will lean towards the candidate, but others will flee from voting for them because of the choice in vp's....is my prediction of the whole thing.

In addition to this, there shall be no religious test for presidential candidates according to our constitution....this covers a multitude of things, but it also covers michelle bachman's RIGHT to her own religious beliefs and her right to run for the presidency, without being prevented from running by people who differ with her own religious perspective....like it seems that you are calling for....?
