If DEI is good, and corporations were applauded for having DEI officers, why is it sexist and racist to call Harris a DEI pick as VP?

Well?

Fair question, eh.

But Democrats, having very little to offer, pay not attention to the [wo]man behind the screen, will always fall back on 'muh, racism'.

Indeed: If DEI is good, and corporations were applauded for having DEI officers, why is it sexist and racist to call Harris a DEI pick as VP?
Good question.

We're not using it as a slur. We're using the literal definition which is racist and misogynistic by its very definition.

If you adhere to dei guidelines and hire women and non whites to intentionally deversify then you are being racist and sexist by saying "we won't hire a white person or a man". Everytime you say "we will hire a black person" you are in effect saying "we will not hire a white person".

Which by the way is against the law because the equal opportunity employment act says you can not hire based on sex, skin color, etc.

A dei hire is intentionally creating diversity which is racist and sexist because it is saying you will only hire people not based on qualifications but instead on skin color, sex and so on.
Or…
Diversity means ‘not white’.
