Or, what if the job that that person is doing is critical to the business and it's difficult or impossible to find someone willing to take on that high-skill job on just a temporary basis (because they want full-time employment)? Then what? Just never mind? Don't bother you with reality?

Okay, well since she is your employee, are you not obligated to provide her transportation by buying her a car? Are you not obligated for her and her child to have a place to live? Are you not obligated to make sure her child gets a college education by providing a college fund?

Having children is a personal decision. It's not a requirement of our society. You want a kid, then you figure out how to support yourself and that kid before having it. Your employer has nothing to do with your personal decisions in life. If I decide I want to try and make a living gambling in Vegas, should my employer provide me the funds to do so?
