If You Had the Power to Rule the World, What Would You Do? Here's What I'd Do.

The entire generation of Israelites that had been corrupted in Egypt died in the desert. Only the youngsters, that didn't know Egypt, were allowed into the promised land. This generation is like that, and that of Noah's day, totally corrupt.
Nice myth.

And yet you obey the atheists in charge Soros, and the Chinese gov't like sheep. Do you really think they're looking out for your best interests?
I don;t obey anyone who thinks they can tell me what to do that includes you and your gods

No problem with it at all. Why would you say such?
.

That's what I meant when I suggested your self-righteous nature provides difficulties in understanding who is actually in charge
and who has earned the Glory.

.

Let’s say in the workings of my fertile mind, I lay in bed at 4 a.m., and the secret of telekinesis is revealed to me. I can mentally move anything I want, regardless of size or distance anywhere in the world. I can do it easily and instantly. Maybe it would involve quantum entanglement. This would immediately give me power to rule the world. I could depose any dictator, I could move them to a remote island. Anything I wanted. What would I do? First, I will pose the question to all of you:

If you had the power to rule the world, would you?

I damn sure would. And lucky for the world, because my sole goal would be to help mankind. I personally would live as modestly as I do now. Things I would do:

  • Institute Roman Catholicism as the official religion of all countries.
  • Disband all atheist Communist dictatorships.
  • Disband all Islamic dictatorships
  • Ban the promotion of any part of an atheist agenda, including all rhetoric designed to weaken the family or society as is being done in the US.
  • Allow drilling and fracking everywhere.
  • Construct a Catholic chapel in all government seats of power.
  • Outlaw all abortion and birth control.
  • Outlaw porn and sexual immorality from all media sources and Hollywood.
  • Outlaw gay marriage.
  • Institute capitalism in all countries
  • Ban the manipulation of free societies by leftist atheist forces.
  • Make all public schools’ and universities’ curricula consistent with the teachings of Jesus’ Catholic Church.
  • Institute a system in which takes governments out of the business of social welfare. Put that in the hands of individuals and encourage charity. Match donors with recipients. Encourage charity recipients to show appreciation.
  • Disallow unwholesome ideas in all media and social media.
  • As a government, encourage love of others and charity.
  • Have an ongoing advertising and social media campaign to recruit seminarians for the priesthood and nuns for the sisterhood.

I would levitate you over the deepest part of the ocean and let go....

No you wouldn't.

You would impose your will on free people.

Like Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot and Mao.
Given your disdain for religion and propensity to rationalize wrong as right, you'd be on the short list of people I would expect to go Hitler.

And yet you obey the atheists in charge Soros, and the Chinese gov't like sheep. Do you really think they're looking out for your best interests?
You really need to separate your political rhetoric from your religious rhetoric.

Just because a person doesn't belong to a cult, doesn't make him/her/they an atheist.
True. And just because someone is an atheist that doesn't mean they don't elevate their atheism to a religion.

.

For the same reason you mentioned the OP's difficulties in separating their rhetoric.

.
But I didn't make an absolute statement like you did. You said, Roman Catholics have always had a problem with ... the Glory is His" right? That implies all Roman Catholics at all times. A pretty hard statement to defend and a very easy one to defeat.

But let's talk about PEOPLE who place their will before the will of God (which is pretty much everyone at least once in their lives). Is that what you meant when you said Roman Catholics have always had a problem with ... the Glory is His"? Because the Catechism teaches otherwise. So if you haven't read that I'd love to know what the basis of your statement is.
