Bragg has not made that claim, Simp.Correct. Trump was indicted under Section 175.10 for falsification of records to aid and conceal Cohen's crime. Bragg isn't charging Cohen with campaign finance violations because Cohen was already convicted.

There is no original crime..You have it backwards. Falsifying business records becomes a felony if it is committed in connection to another crime regardless of whether that crime is a misdemeanor or a felony. The second crime being committed makes the original misdemeanor of felony.
