Is solar energy legal?

America is 'supposed' to be self sufficient on oil and some even try to claim on 'fossil fuels' too. It's not but your argument spills the beans doesn't it!

No, electric cars do not consume the same energy of burning, whatever the hell that's supposed to mean?

My guess is you're trying to say that electricity is generated by fossil fuels in America. Most modern countries don't.
About 15% fossil fuels in Canada.
About 60% of the electricity generation in the US is provided by fossil fuels. 20% by renewables, and 20% by nuclear. The use of coal is rapidly diminishing, as natural gas will soon be. For reasons of economy. Wind and solar are now the least costly sources of generation.

Every part of an electric car was manufactured using fossil fuels.

Not likely.
And a straight lie for some countries. You're going to have to clean up you act if you expect to be believed on anything from now on.

Not only is every part of an electric car manufactured using fossil fuels, but also transporting those cars from the manufacturers, many of whom are overseas. And charging them every day, requires electricity that was most likely generated by fossil fuels.

Where did you think electricity came from, Sparky the Unicorn?

You really are that clueless. Where do you think electricity comes from? the god?

How sad.

Damn, all you guys have is lies. The mix for the US is 60% of our electricity is generated by fossil fuels, 20% by renewables, and 20% by nuclear. And in the West, where Tesla mainly operates at present, the renewables represent far more that 20%.

Renewable resources fueled three-tenths of Nevada’s large- and small-scale in-state electricity net generation in 2019.

Beat you by 2 minutes.

However, for Nevada and California, the present renewable share is over 30%. And Tesla has solar panels on the roof of it factories.

To date, we have installed solar panels with a capacity of 3,200 KW. This installation will grow to about 24,000 KW–the whole roof of the current building structure–by the end of next year. This will make it the largest rooftop solar installation in the US,” Tesla wrote.Aug 31, 2021

That is correct for the moment. Both wind and solar are growing at a double digit compound rate, while coal is steadily shrinking, as is nuclear.

Not hardly a "double digit compound rate", when you consider how the overall amount of consumed electrical power is increasing yearly. Sure, coal dipped in 2020 but shows a resurgence in 2021. It's going to take decades for solar and wind to overtake natural gas, coal, and nuclear, if it happens at all.

U.S. wind capacity increased by 203.5% between 2010 and 2020, a 12% average annual increase. Global wind capacity increased by 14% annually, on average, from 2010 to 2020, reaching 743 GW in 2020. U.S. average turbine size was 2.55 MW in 2019, up 5% from 2.43 MW in 2018.

21.8% per year

The market size of the Solar Power industry in the US has grown 21.8% per year on average between 2016 and 2021. Is the Solar Power industry in the US expected to grow or decline over the next five years?Sep 20, 2021

In fact, industries are beginning to turn to solar for steady power that is not affected by price fluctuations in fossil fuels.

Evraz Group S.A. (EVRAZ) is a steel, mining and vanadium business with operations in the Russian Federation, Ukraine, the USA, Canada, the Czech Republic, Italy and South Africa.

Feel free to ask them how many of their other steel mills are solar powered? None, to be exact. The one in Pueblo is the world's first. I would guess that with the Biden Administration's war against coal and natural gas, and the price of electricity rising, going solar was the only way they could make a profit here in the US.

Reality sucks, don't it?

Hydrocarbons and water-reservoirs lie in certain territories and are the national property of any people that sells raw materials or energy extracted from them. Sunlight is a common property and is shared among all peoples. Therefore, the use of solar energy without coordination with other countries is illegal. This is stealing.

In addition, if this is agreed, an expert opinion is needed on the safety of lack of sunlight for mankind, and someone should take responsibility for this decision.

Get help. No one owns sunlight and the sunlight that falls on your land is yours to do with as you please and in no way diminishes the sunlight available to others.

Not so. I saw an episode of The Simpsons where Mr. Burns blocked out the sun to the whole city of Springfield. :04:

You think that does not apply to other industries? Other industries will follow.
