Jackson Mississippi water system has failed. Did their Congressmen vote for infrastructure investment?

Jackson Mississippi is in a crisis. They have no water for drinking, washing or toilets

”The water system has been troubled for years and the city already was under a boil-water notice since late July.”

EVERY Mississippi Congress member and Senator voted against the $1.2 trillion Infrastructure Bill. A Bill that provides funding to upgrade water systems

Mississippi is one of our poorest states with crumbling infrastructure
Yet their Congressmen turned their back on struggling citizens and voted against public infrastructure investment
I got news for you, the construction boom will affect you sooner than you think.

Jackson has been run by dems for decades and they have poorly managed this city, causing this.

a federal infrastructure bill voted out a few months ago wasn’t going to fix it.

Their Coongressmen did the right thing and should be applauded for it. There is NO specific mandate anywhere in Article I, Section 8 of the US Constitution allowing for any Federal spending on water systems or any of the vast majority of other types of infrastructure projects in that bill.

Postal Roads (aka Interstste highways), and Federal buildings are the only public infrastructure that Section approves of.

Not insecure. Physically ill with disgust at what this nation has become in the last 161 years. Especially the Federal takeover of things that should be Stste, Local, or Family/Individual responsibilities.

Not really. Though I’m a big proponent of Somali style gun control.

The Village. Strikes again. Live for the day and not for the future. The Village has been instituted in Europe and living in the cold is such fun as they will learn.

161 years ago we were a backward ass little nation of no world standing.

Claimed all men were created equal but judged brown skinned one 2/3 of a human being.

Denied voting rights to women and people who didn't own land.

Shit in holes dug out back of house.

Most people poorly educated.

And died of common diseases as healthcare was non-existent.

Yeah, let's pine for those days.

The people in charge of these areas are retarded and depend on those who are more responsible. And then the responsible ones get the blame when failures happen. Like Flint, Michigan and the prog shrew Whitmer got elected. Most African American ghetto males would sexually abuse her and get rid of her. And they vote that shit in.

The water problem in the City of Flint was caused by republic governor Snyder.

The people of Jackson MS are just like the rural maga crowd who feel like government has failed to address their concerns. The difference is that the citizens of Jackson would welcome state and federal money to repair their infrastructure issues. Rural maga fuck up would reject government help like rural broadband and basic infrastructure money just so they could keep whining as an issue.
