Just Read 43-Million People in U.S. Are on Foodstamps??

My father was retired by then, but I went I went to Jax NAS, and Cecil Field FREQUENTLY to the commisary, and took my mother for medical care. No such problems there. I also visited Aniston, Alabama, my sister had just joined the Army, sell those lines somewhere else.

Did Reagan increase COLAs for military retirees? Of course not, Reagan CUT COLAS. My father went through three wars while Ronnie dined at Delmonico's and heard his retirement called an "entitlement" like it was a welfare check.

Dont preach about what you dont know shit about peach. I served from 1979 until 2002. Reagans first year in office the military got a 11% raise. Reagan transformed the Military from a bunch of drugged out viet nam vets to the best military the world has ever seen until Obama took it and started filling it up with a bunch of faggots.

But I do know, I lived at both Mayport, and right near Norfolk, my father was CAREER, 1941-1970. went to the commisary, and JAX NAS until 1992. Reagan had -0- for Vets, from my father and grandfather, grandfather was a disabled WWI Vet.

You dont know shit, you were a dependent.

Ask any of the following:

Archibald Leitch, Scottish architect
Cecil Leitch, English golfer
David Leitch (settler) (1753–1794), founder of Leitch's Station, Kentucky, United States
David Leitch (actor), American actor and stuntman
David Leitch (politician) (1923–1988), Australian politician
David R. Leitch (born 1948), American politician
Donovan Leitch, Scottish musician
Donovan Leitch, Jr., actor and the son of the above
Harry Leitch, Scottish squash player
Ione Skye Leitch, known as Ione Skye, actress and daughter of Donovan Leitch
Maurice Leitch, Writer and author
Scott Leitch, Scottish football player and manager
Will Leitch, American writer
William Leighton Leitch, Scottish painter

I'm sure every one of them could explain the difference between "Leech" and "Leitch"

Sense of humor ain't your strong suit, is it?

Then again, no surprise.

THAT is your sense of humor?

You must be alot of fun at parties

I vote for those who SERVE, Dole, McCain, and Gore. You vote for the stay at homes, who supports Vets?:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Thank for ALL your "kind" words, public & private; I lived on military bases, and WITH disabled Vets. I have an opinion, same as you; I do not let hate control me as you do however. And I decline your invitation to have intimate relations.:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

No, but I listened to their opinions. Thank you for your service. And my father, and I missed part of my childhood together, as he was off to the "Med" and other places, thus I felt the impact.

The question at hand is the military using food stamps

What is your expertise?

When I served the only people that were getting food stamps were the very young E-1-E-3 that joined and had families. The Military should not let anyone under E-5 get married because they just cant afford to make it on thier pay.

So, you never served. Just like Chickenhawks Obama and Rightwinger.
Noted.
Thanks.

Same here -
E-1, 2, 3's with four kids!
Pisspoor family planning.
I agree -- i didnt' start making any kind of "real" money until E-5 an it still wasn't a lot. Hell, for what I did as an E-8, what I was making wasn't enough.

Military - as you know - is grossly underpaid.

Sounds like the government telling people what they can and cannot do.

Rather socialist...

I agree with this, if you will allow me to, without going into a rage.

I think the key point is that yes, the military is grossly underpaid if its members need food stamps. Just like that major portion of the private sector who have full time jobs yet require food stamps to survive.

We have thrown the working poor under the bus while we ensure a low paid workforce to corporate America

The Military is socialist, you do what you are told.

Am I allowed to mention those in the military also give up some civil rights, cannot sue (in most cases) for non combat work related injuries, and risk their lives daily, as active duty can be sent anywhere, anytime.

Since all money is imaginary anyway, what's it really matter how much is spent on X? National debt is so much it can never be paid off, and money isn't backed by anything so really, who cares?
