Looks like the FBI are in the clear

BOMBSHELL: McCabe says FBI told GOP lawmakers in 2017 they were investigating Trump -- and none objected

It turns out the FBI informed Republican leadership of the investigation into Trump.
"
“No one objected,” McCabe said of the senators’ reactions. “Not on legal grounds, not on constitutional grounds, and not based on the facts.”

McCabe also told Guthrie that, in May 2017 when it began its investigation, the FBI believed that it “might be possible” that Trump was working directly for Russia.

“You have to ask yourself why any president of the United States might not want to get to the bottom of Russian interference in our election,” he said."

So the FBI didn't act alone and actually reported it to the GOP lawmakers...

So the GOP security heads were also concerned...

The Trumpsters are going to call them liberals and establishment guys or something.

Here is a tip, the establishment is the USA and trying to help Russia tear it down has been defended for decades...

Why have a defence dept when Trump will sell out the country for trinkets any way...

So wait... they found nothing.

Why are we STILL having yet a other Russia investigation then?

Perhaps because the entire thing is giant load of BS.

Perhaps not. Like global warming the Russian Investigation is dismissed out of hand. Wishful thinking or willful ignorance - that is the question.

Giant conspiracy that made millions change their ballot box choices.

No evidence after FBI investigation and special investigation after two years.

It's you who is dreaming.

Once again, wishful thinking or willful ignorance? Denial is a psychological defense mechanism***.

15 Common Defense Mechanisms

***From the LINK:

Denial is the refusal to accept reality or fact, acting as if a painful event, thought or feeling did not exist. It is considered one of the most primitive of the defense mechanisms because it is characteristic of early childhood development. Many people use denial in their everyday lives to avoid dealing with painful feelings or areas of their life they don’t wish to admit. For instance, a person who is a functioning alcoholic will often simply deny they have a drinking problem, pointing to how well they function in their job and relationships.

You are the only one denying that there is no evidence what so ever.

Call back when you have the evidence, I don't need your lectures, I need the evidence.

Before Trump fired Comey, these Democrats wanted him out
Here is a brief timeline of Democrats expressing frustration over Comey’s decision to publicly announce the re-opening of the investigation into Clinton’s emails 11 days before the election. Some questioned his judgment, others called for him to step down, and still others said his credibility was damaged.

Editorial: Time for President Trump to really put America first

Oct. 30, 2016: Then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada, accused the FBI director of breaking the Hatch Act, a federal law, by publicly disclosing new information about the Clinton investigation 11 days ahead of the presidential election.

“I am writing to inform you that my office has determined that these actions may violate the Hatch Act, which bars FBI officials from using their official authority to influence an election,” Reid wrote in the letter. “Through your partisan actions, you may have broken the law.”

Oct. 31, 2016: The next day, Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tennessee, echoed concerns similar to Reid’s and called for Comey to resign his FBI post. Cohen reiterated that call in a Nov. 3 opinion column published in The Hill.

Nov. 2, 2016: Days later, Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-New York, told Bloomberg News that he had lost confidence in Comey for his handling of Clinton’s email investigation.

“I do not have confidence in him any longer,” Schumer said at the time. “To restore my faith, I am going to have to sit down and talk to him and get an explanation for why he did this.”

That same day, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-San Francisco, shared similar feelings with CNN and suggested Comey may lose his job.

"Maybe he's not in the right job," Pelosi said. "I think that we have to just get through this election and just see what the casualties are along the way."

Jan. 13, 2017: Two months after Clinton lost to Trump, Democrats blasted Comey after a briefing on the agency’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the election.

One of them was Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Georgia, who at the time said, “My confidence in the FBI director’s ability to lead this agency has been shaken.”

Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Los Angeles, put it more bluntly: “The FBI director has no credibility.”

Jan. 24, 2017: The fading confidence in Comey continued toward the end of January when Rep. G.K. Butterfield, D-North Carolina, said “I think that James Comey needs to fade away into oblivion.

“He embarrassed this nation, he possibly influenced the outcome of a presidential election, and he should not hold any position of trust, whatsoever, in our government.”

And that’s just a list of Democratic lawmakers who spoke up about Comey. Others made similar calls for the FBI director to step down last year.

On Oct. 30, 2016, the New York Daily News editorial board called on Comey to resign:

FBI Director James Comey’s democracy-bending decision to inform America, 11 days before its presidential election, that the bureau is digging into a trove of additional emails demands the highest condemnation. And he must resign.

On Oct. 31, 2016, ThinkProgress justice editor Ian Millhiser wrote a post making “the case for firing James Comey”:

We also know that Comey violated longstanding Justice Department protocol when he decided to disclose the very few facts that he actually did disclose in his letter to the Republican chairs. And we know that he wrote the letter over the explicit objections of Attorney General Loretta Lynch.Taken together, these actions constitute a fireable offense.

On Nov. 7, 2016, Newsweek columnist Kurt Eichenwald didn’t just call for the FBI director’s firing — he said Comey was unfit for public service:

James Comey should not simply be fired as director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He must be barred forever from any form of public service.

Raw Story?

What's the matter, couldn't find anything from Buzzfeed today?

Comey testified publicly to the investigation in March of 17, dope.

It's certainly reasonable that a more in depth briefing to leadership occurred in May.

Comey lied out his ass and also authorized McCabe to leak, dope.

No he claimes he told them. NBC News has reached out to the congressional leaders for comment on McCabe's remarks. As is typical of members when asked about classified briefings, several refused to comment, including Ryan, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senate Intelligence Chairman Richard Burr, R-N.C., and panel Vice Chairman Mark Warner, D-Virginia. How convenient.

So the Clinton campaign pays Fusion GPS to create a set of phony "dossiers" to smear Trump...FBI higher ups like McCabe knew that was the case but never shared that information with FISA court judges when they used the dossiers as "proof" that Trump was colluding with Russia but you think that McCabe WAS honest with those members of the GOP about what had taken place? McCabe should be under investigation for criminal conspiracy for what he did at the FBI.

Liar.
Comey testified publicly under oath in march of 17 that there was indeed a counterintelligence investigation into Russia's efforts to interfere which included who if any Trump campaign officials may have been involved.

It was already public knowledge, dope.

20 March 2017...

Didn't mention that he leaked shit to his professor butt buddy, to leak to the NYT, did he?...Didn't mention that he told McCabe to leak shit to the media, did he?

Dope.

This is why McConnell and Ryan didn't get on board with Trump's agenda getting the wall money the first two years. They thought he would be ousted from office. Also if this is true, Rosenstein has some explaining to do since he told Trump he wasn't under investigation.

Rosenstein has some explaining to do???

giphy.gif

How the hell do you not understand that Trump asking DOJ if he is under investingation is IN OF ITSELF a breach of DOJ protocol and is highly UNETHICAL.

Can you as a private citizen call up FBI and ask them if your are under investigation? Of course not.

Rosestein doesn't have to explain shit, the question was inapropriate and if he had to lie to stop our crooked president from further obstruction then good on him.

Wrong dead wrong

The FBI job is to help America against harm

Not warning the president of the United States is the same as not warning of spies around the White House with guns

The FBI HID the danger

The FBI hid that there is enemies running around the White House

Absolutely stupid logic to say the FBI was protecting this nation when not warning the president

So the FBI is all BS with this to protect the past president !!

Protecting the last presidents harmful actions by going after anything on trump

Why ??? To scare him from not going further to learn that the democrats and Obama crooked to the core

This is a CLASSIC case of blackmail

Barr must charge that crime to mueller and the top FBI and then he must upgrade that big crime to High Treason

Lindsey Graham is in the gang of 8 and denies it ever happened. Makes ya wonder, was it a private meeting with Dems? And if so, we’ll, just another indictment, in my opinion toward their working together towards a soft coup.

Isn’t the “gang of 8” members of this swamp you guys keep talking about?

All of the sudden, you believe the swamp?
The Republican part of the swamp, yes.

Again the FBI hid the facts to the fisa courts

And then hid the possible of harm Russia was trying hid to the executive branch the president !!

A slam dunk case of proof of crookedness by the deep state

The democrat FBI is hiding that science is saying New York State lesders guilty of murdering of us citizens at 9 months pregnancy

Where is the FBI??

Actually, you can do that...And it's against the law for them to lie to you.

The bottem line

The FBI is hiding and helping deep states crimes

And creating crimes in order to blackmail

What does that have to do with the thread?
None of that is wrong or relevant to the subject at hand, dope.

The Republican leadership was briefed and had no problems with the investigation.

Big error in not warning the president

That's simple

This is about the FBI at the top level bringing crimes

Not letting the fisa court know the truth is a crime.

Hiding the truth from the court

Hiding the truth to the White House

Outrageous corruption !!

The FBI was stupid to try this

And stupid to not understand what it means when men are on the other side

The FBI is trying to fool the less logical

But the higher logics the men has declared they are guilty of treason
