“Mar-a-Lago Security Tapes Were NOT DELETED” – Trump Accuses Jack Smith of Prosecutorial Misconduct, Illegal Leaks

Well this is not really a shocker. This Smith guy is turning out to be a putz.

“Mar-a-Lago Security Tapes Were NOT DELETED” – Trump Accuses Jack Smith of Prosecutorial Misconduct, Illegal Leaks

President Trump on Sunday ripped Biden’s corrupt Justice Department in a series of Truth Social posts.

Last week Special Counsel Jack Smith hit Trump with a superseding indictment in the classified documents case and accused the former president of being a part of a scheme to delete Mar-a-Lago security tapes.

Trump was charged with three new counts, including one count for willful retention of national defense information related to a document he allegedly showed staffers at his Bedminster golf club.

Smith also charged a third defendant in Trump’s classified documents case on Thursday.

Jack Smith charged Carlos De Oliveira, a maintenance worker who helped Trump aide Walt Nauta move boxes of documents around at Mar-a-Lago.

Carlos De Oliveira, 56, was added to the obstruction conspiracy charges filed in the original charges.

According to the superseding indictment reviewed by The Gateway Pundit, Carlos De Oliveira told ‘Trump Employee 4’ that “the boss” [Trump] wanted the server at Mar-a-Lago deleted.

No security tapes were deleted.
Conspiracy to commit a crime is a crime. Doesn't matter if the conspiracy was successful.

So what if no tapes were deleted? If bank robbers get caught after they walk in the bank do they get to go free since they didn’t take any money?! These narratives yall pump out are idiotic
Similarly, do bank robbers get forgiven if they’re caught with the money stashed in their house, and they turn it over when discovered by authorities?

Smith knows that he can do anything he wants and the media will still make him a hero, and he will never have consequences for prosecutorial misconduct.

This:

Is incredibly flimsy as a "case" for obstruction of justice. An anonymous "Trump Employee 4," makes a claim of second-hand report that Trump "wanted" something?

Anonymous accusations play well in a media targeting the most gullible and willfully ignorant among us, but they won't work in court unless the prosecution can get a jury just as gullible and willfully ignorant.
Who's anonymous? They know who individual 4 and 5 are..... And individual 4 will testify before the jury.... Plus they have video of Carlos and Walt, and they have conversations between the two about what The Boss wanted.... from what I understand.

The prosecutor knows what evidence he needs to convince a jury, and has it, before charges are ever brought...

Sicing the DOJ after your #1 political opponent is a fucking conspiracy!!!!
The Democrats in charge have turned our country into a third-world corrupt nation, and the American leftists are fine with it.

Fortunately, the majority of Americans see how the DOJ is going after Trump, creating bogus indictment after bogus indictment, while pulling out all stops to protect Corrupt Biden - including trying to imprison the key witness ready to testify against Biden.

It won't be an "anonymous accusation" it will be witness testimony.

Supported by testimony by Cochrane to Trump's statements to him, leading to a document falsely claiming all documents bearing classification markings were delivered to the government.

Supported by testimony by Cochrane that Trump wanted to hide the documents despite the subpoena.

Supported by video removing boxes from the storage room prior the search by Cochrane..

Supported by video putting some but not all boxes back after Cochrane did his search.

Supported by photographs showing documents bearing classification markings in places other than the storage room like his desk, during the execution of a search warrant.

Supported by call logs from and to Trump closely timed with those events.

Supported by video or eyewitness testimony (it's murky) of Nauta and the other guy going to look at the position of security cameras by flashlight.

Supported by audio tapes and text messages

I don't think you need to be gullible to believe that Trump wanted and ordered people to hide documents from the government.

What if a defendant lies to his lawyers about having documents with classification markers, something those lawyers then attest to in response to a federal subpoena. Is that obstruction of justice?
Like Russian Collusion by Hitlery Clinton. That right there is trying to overthrow a legitimate government, and all you fuckers who supported the idea of Russian Collusion are aiding and abetting said "Insurrection" When President Trump gets back in office, all you Dem voters can be charged with insurrection and the key can be thrown away.

If they do, we can discuss it then. I'm not taking Jack Smith's word that they will testify, or even that they exist. He has a history of going after Republicans, and I have no reason to think that he has reformed.

You mean because Smith said so.
The prosecutor knows what evidence he needs to convince a jury, and has it, before charges are ever brought...
Really? Then why did Smith get the Florida indictment, and then immediately ask for a delay?

You're assuming that Smith is acting in good faith, which is an invalid assumption, given Smith's history.

That the best you can do? What about Hillary?

How original. Maybe try to address what I say, when you reply to what I say?

Don't believe blindly all that your media says....

You mean because Smith said so.
The superseding indictment says so.....and presented to the court. Lies aren't accepted by the court.... Similar to courts turning down Giuliani election lies with phony evidence that all the different courts rejected....

Smith believes it is enough evidence to convict him for the indictments. But only the jury, will decide in the end.
Really? Then why did Smith get the Florida indictment, and then immediately ask for a delay?

The judge, required by law, has to set the speedy trial date within 70 days of indictment.... Whether the judge believes it can be achieved or not, and waits for the defense or prosecutors request another realistic date.

Due to all of the discovery evidence for Trump's team to go through that he had to turn over, and this being a classified document case where lawyers need to get clearance first, and other things that have to take place in classified documents cases, Smith put in to the judge to change the date to early December 2023.

Then Trump's lawyers sent a request to put the trial off until after the election, and Judge Cannon picked May 2024, taking in consideration that trump had a March criminal trial already scheduled.

You don't seem to understand the story.

accused the former president of being a part of a scheme to delete Mar-a-Lago security tapes.

Not a single person has argued they were deleted. This is little more than an attempt to deflect what happened. Trump tried to get the person over the tapes to delete them but in the end the guy did not delete them.

In comparison it would be more like a person hiring another to kill someone but that person turns them in instead. This is likely what has happened. Not wanting to get in trouble themselves, they ratted out Trump.
