Retarded.

The Neptune is only capable of "defeating" a 5,000 ton displacement.

Three successful hits in different parts of the ship would be required to even "destroy" not sink the Moskva. And the Ukrainians don't have over the horizon radar or any kind of radar what-so-ever that can guide any Neptunes to the target.

Lastly, basic CWIS will shoot a Neptune down.

I head on the news that Biden canceled the choppers.

Dude is a fucking coward. SCARED TO DEATH of Putin taking something the wrong way.

Here's a hint from a non coward......

That money will get funneled from the military industrial complex back to the politicians. Lol

The Neptune system is so worthless that Ukraine could not find a buyer for export, anywhere in the world.

Even users on Twitter are flat out calling Ukraine's claim it damaged the Moskva to be complete bullshit. Glad I'm not the only one with some damned Naval sense.

MOSCOW, April 14. /TASS/. The cruiser "Moscow" of the Black Sea Fleet was seriously damaged as a result of the detonation of ammunition caused by the fire, the crew was evacuated. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"As a result of the fire on the missile cruiser "Moscow" detonated ammunition. The ship was seriously damaged. The crew has been completely evacuated," the military department said.

The Ministry reported that the causes of the fire are being established.

"Moscow" is the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet, the lead ship of project 1164 "Atlant". It was put into operation in 1983 under the name "Glory". In 1996, the cruiser received its current name. The main impact armament of the ship is 16 launchers of P-1000 Vulcan missiles.

In the second half of 2015, the cruiser headed the permanent operational unit of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean Sea, where its air defense covered the Russian Khmeimim airbase in Syria. On July 22, 2016, the cruiser "Moscow" was awarded the Order of Nakhimov.

That's not how magazines work.

They are designed now to blow out the top. Moskva is no different. Sounds like they had a fire. This happens all the time on warships at sea.

Look at the Forestall disaster.

Vietnam would claim a "great victory for communism" if people were as stupid as you.

Ukraine makes shit up, you eat it like candy. I know more military statistics in my thumb than you ever will know.
heh - you have no idea what my positions are on anything.

you're just a blithering fool.

That ship is tiny with no defensive systems and no armor belt. Can't tell from the pic, oil bunker? small logistics?

Looks like 2000 tons.

You can tell that the penetration is from the side which makes sense because Neptune is a wave skimmer.

An armor belt like Moskva's has would eat that thing for breakfast.
