One of democracy's biggest failings is not being able to choose the country's best and brightest.

Hence, quite the opposite with both Trump and Biden as examples.

While communist China has the freedom to choose the cream of the crop from any or all fields of expertise.

Yet we continue to hold to capitalism and democracy because it's the best choice. And we can't imagine any way to fix it's shortcomings.

China may have indeed hit on an answer with it's capitalist system in which socialism or social change is now being introduced into their system in which capitalism's very wealthy are going to be reined in by Xi's directions.

On a bright note, capitalism and democracy can still survive in the world's leading countries!

But it's now seeming to be that America's uncontolled and unfettered capitalism is being doomed to a fascist takeover in which the leadership strips the people of any ability to control government.

In the case of China I disagree and I base that on their huge success of lifting hundreds of millions of their people up out of poverty.
But as China accomplished that they have come to realize that wealth has started to grow out of proportion in the hands of the very wealthy.
Hence, you will find that Xi has introduced new socialist ideas that are designed to limit the wealth of the top ?? per cent.

It can be clearly seen as China's direct challenge to the American way.

Will it work? It's something new within a communist leadership of a capitalist system.
