No wonder Obama had to appoint this guy instead!

Really? Obama couldn't find a better qualified person to take the job? He chose a spin master who is good at "controlling the message." People may get sick, but the message put out will protect the administration, Africa's economy and the political careers of Dems. Isn't that what's really important? We already have Dems trying to control the message, like Sheila Jackson Lee, who is saying the most incredibly stupid things. I think they are okay with the idiotic message that somehow it's the Republican's fault, or even the NRA, but they need someone who is better at convincing people so they went with this guy.

The focus is on public opinion instead of public safety. Typical of this administration.

It's not an iron-clad solution, but blocking 90-95% of potential carriers from entering sure as hell beats not doing so.

The President enforces the laws that Congress passes. Just so you will know, both the House and the Senate must vote to change the immigration laws. Republican bills from the House are either sitting in Harry Reids' in basket or in a Senate Democrat controlled committee gathering dust.

its nice that some people are paying attention .... back in 2009 we heard from the right about all these Czar appointments ... the right railed on Obama for all these Czar appointments and even a house member and 10 others came up with a bill to ban all Czars that he had appointed... Jack Kingston was the guy that came up with the bill ... it didn't get passed, but he came up with it ... we heard all kinds of repub-lie-cans coming up with the Czar crap and how they should stop the president from having them ... even John McLoser railed about it ... told us how terrible all these Czar are....
