Let us just examine the part that says We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised uup against the knowledge of God and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ......
When you have a stronghold in your mind what has happened is Satan has caused you to believe a lie. Once you realize it is a lie and that you have accepted something from Satan which he has raised up against the knowledge of God in your mind to hold you captive you have been commanded to do something to about it. What is it you have been commanded to do?
Take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. If it is not written in the Word of God it is a lie from the enemy and he has gained a stronghold in your mind. You must destroy it with the Word of God and crush it under your feet ( Luke 10:19 ) You must decree and declare the written Word of God over your mind, body and spirit. You belong to the LORD and Satan has no rights to trespass unless you give them to him. Come out of agreement with Satan and come into agreement with the Word of God about you and who you are, Christian.
