Poll: Americans don’t think gun control is important

Dude if there is one thing that I do know that is Guns You can take my word as the gospel.
That 90% bull shit is just that bullshit.
There is more than 10% of Americans that own firearms. Firearms owners know that we already have background checks.

So, dude, you know for a fact that no firearms owners favour background checks for on-line or gunshow purchases?

What have I said? nothing that you have implied.
Gun owners did not favor this bill because we gun owners know that we have background checks
Even at gun shows and online you must go through a background check.

Are they required at gun shows or for online purchases?

:eusa_think: Nobody, even a private seller, would think of selling a car to a Monkey who couldn't produce a state-issued drivers license....

:dunno: What if there were a rule that said nobody could purchase a weapon without a state issued weapons permit, and if you're too little to get a permit, you're parents are responsible for anyone you shoot.

Screw the gun registry... lets register the gun nuts. :wink_2:

Permits take away rights Rights are not permit issue

both.

only 4% polled are concerned about the gun control issue.

Poll: Americans don't think gun control is important | Human Events

Once again we see this lie.

The question in the poll was "What is the most important problem facing America today", not "Do you consider gun control a major problem".

Poll: Americans don't think gun control is important | Human Events

The survey, which sought public opinion on “the most important problem facing the country today,” was conducted April 4 through April 7.

Absolutely amazing how this lie is being repeated by all of the fruitloops here.

:eusa_shifty: Whatever you say, pal... you're the one holdin' the heater.

how many gun owners are their in America?

What difference does that make? The question gun enthusiasts of all attitudes need to ask is 'how many gun owners in America think like me?'

The reasonable will win in the end. Just by virtue of sheer numbers as the population doubles again. Same fucking thing is happening in religion.

and again it kills that 90% bullshit you have been pushing,

The poll said nothing of the kind, of course.

It said that 4% of Americans think Gun Control is the MOST IMPORTANT issue... and the rest think the Economy, or Immigration, or some other issue is the MOST important.

Nice try.

Kind of shoots that 90 percent bullshit out the door. doesn't it?

How so? One could easily argue that, while 90% favor more inclusive background checks, only 4% feel that gun control is the most important issue facing the nation.

The 90% was from 1,058 college liberals done by MSNBC. It's typical left-wing propaganda that one could laugh at withou doing any research. You can't get 90% of America on ANYTHING. You literally could not get 90% of America to agree that murder is wrong and/or should be illegal!!!

You have to be one dumb S.O.B. to believe any poll which says "90%" (and Obama is one dumb S.O.B.).

It makes a great deal of difference when the argument for passage of that bill was 90% of Americans wanted background checks.
So would you agree their are more than 10% gun owners in America?

No. It does not. Do you ever tire of being called stupid?

Duh... obviously, some gun owners understand the need for tighter controls on guns in America in spite having a 'precious' or two in the house.

'Reasonable' will eventually prevail. Thank (insert your preferred Deity here) that most Americans are reasonable, whether they own guns or not.

there

Hmm...without registrations, this is only an estimate. Lets say 100,000,000.

Next question on your way to another fail, please.

Nope wrong

Number of Privately Owned Firearms
The estimated total number of guns held by civilians in the United States is 270,000,0001
CompareRate of Civilian Firearm Possession per 100 Population
The rate of private gun ownership in the United States is 88.81 firearms per 100 people

Guns in the United States: Facts, Figures and Firearm Law
Kills that 90% bullshit

You know you're not being completely honest here bigrednec.
They don't apply in all states.

What state? does have a background check

Its enforced by the feds.
Federal form 4473

What about the idea of no sale without a state issued weapons permit? How many gun owners drive a car? How about a uniform background check, performed by the states, and a little symbol on your ID that says you're cool to buy a gun?

Retailers and gun shows could even swipe the ID's magnetic strips to determine if a customer has lost their gun privileges recently.

 Welcome to the 21st Century!

What was your question? How many owners....or how many firearms? They are not the same number.

You misunderstood your own question....didn't ya?

Still does not "kill" the 90% number.

Next.
