Saudi Arabia open to trading in currencies besides the dollar.

Then why did we leave behind billions of dollars worth of equipment?

Because we had given it to the Afghan army and it would look bad to take it back.

That is why we went from 14,000 troops to less than 3,000 troops without taking any of it back, which if you knew anything about logistics would have been the time to do it.

It should have never happened. They never actually even had an army.

But our Defense contractors made bank, which helps the economy and the GDP which makes the POTUS look good.

I've posted on this before and I was told it was never going to happen but here we go another step.

Pakistan will trade with Russia using the Chinese currency and the dominos will continue to fall.

All because we feel war is the answer to get people to bend to our will as opposed to commerce. As the article notes, it's not an easy conversion but it's on it's way. We will have no choice in addressing our debt and it's not going to be pretty.

Saudi Arabia just said they are now 'open' to the idea of trading in currencies besides the US dollar — does this spell doom for the greenback? 3 reasons not to worry
That is how Saddam got on the USA's bad side to be honest....not long after he did that, he was invaded...

But Iraq doesn't have the oil, I mean power, that SA has...so fortunately, they are safe....

The reason they should trade in dollars, is because of the soundness of the currency. Or at least what the soundness of the currency was before the Radical Bidenistas got it.

The advantage to Saudi Arabia is they should know what they are getting when they quote a price.
Who are you to decide that for other countries??

If they don't want to trade in dollars, it is their right....you gonna force them to??

This is why all of that talk about "free markets" is and has always been bullshit...there is no free market and folks like you rely on that same government you hate to force other world governments to do as the "elites" wish...

I don't think any other country should be "forced" to do anything. Just pointing out that the Dollar under Sleepy Joe is unstable, and other countries like the Tremendous Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have less faith in it.

And that lack of faith will have bad economic effects on the American people- even those of us who didn't vote for the Bozo in charge right now.

Why didn’t Trump make arrangements to have it shipped home if it was that important?

Why didnt Trump transition the withdrawal to Biden?
I just can't believe you election deniers. Biden won the election. You really need to get over that. Biden was president when we got out of Afghanistan and he got out so fast he left billions of dollars of US military equipment behind.

What? He left it for the Taliban!

Trump left Biden with 2500 troops when he took over. Biden should have only had to withdraw equipment for 2500 troops

While he was drawing down troops, why didn’t Trump take all their equipment with them?

Didnt he care?

What difference does that make? Biden got out so damned fast he encouraged Putin to invade Ukraine and left billions of dollars of US military equipment behind. How stupid is that?

How is that working out for Putin?

Bigger disaster than the US in Afghanistan

Trump is IndyThinkers God. He literally cannot say a bad word about the man.

His username is even more ironic than yours.

Spin it all you want. Biden left billions of dollars in US military equipment in Afghanistan.

Who is he?

You mean that CIC that took the troop strength from 14,000 plus to less than 3,000 and did not have those troops take any of the gear with them?
Why do you deny the election results? Biden was president. Biden ignored his own advisors and got out so quickly he left billions of dollars worth of our military equipment behind.
