The GOP is supposed to be the party of personal responsibility, yet it refuses to take personal responsibility for its own failures. It has to admit that it has to fix its messaging -- note I did not say "message" -- before it can begin to turn itself around.

Republicans have been painted as the party of the rich. They have done little to dispel that image. They need to offer the working class more than trickle down.....they need concrete programs

i have nothing against well meaning social programs that are paid for by taxes as long as someone makes sure they dont get out of control or people start taking advantage of it....and here in California that has happened more than a few times.....and no one seems to want to make it right because they are afraid of the backlash.....
