Texas woman filing an emergency lawsuit to terminate a pregnancy for health reasons. The baby has a genetic problem that is fatal.
The Texas Supreme Court is currently hearing cases on the same subject now, but this is an emergency hearing.

A Texas woman has filed an emergency lawsuit, asking a Travis County judge to allow her to terminate her pregnancy.

This is the first time since before Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973 that an adult woman has asked a court to intervene to allow her to terminate a pregnancy, and the first lawsuit of its kind since Texas banned almost all abortions in 2022.

Kate Cox, a 31-year-old Dallas woman, learned last week that her fetus was diagnosed with full trisomy 18, a chromosomal anomaly that is almost always fatal before or soon after birth. The fetus is developing with an umbilical hernia, a twisted spine, a club foot and an irregular skull and heart, according to the lawsuit.

Cox, who already has two children, both delivered by Cesarean section, also has elevated glucose and underlying health conditions. The lawsuit alleges she is at increased risk of gestational hypertension and diabetes and complications from anesthesia and cesarean section, if she were to carry the pregnancy to term.

Why beg the court?....Go to a state that has abortion and be done with it.

But this isn't really about the deed, is it?....Just like you ghouls to hide behind a woman in a health crisis, to push your fucked up politics.

The political right is definitely running away from having to own their position on abortion.
The political left has an opportunity to own the logical approach to abortion by adopting Canada's standard. Or any other civilized country's standards.

Mothers have an equal right to life as the child they are carrying

Regretfully let her kill her baby to save her own life if the facts are true and thats what she wants

If a pregnant woman develops cancer, can she take chemotherapy?

If she does, can she be prosecuted for poisoning the child she is carrying?

It's neither the role nor responsibility of government to dictate to women whether they may have a child or not.
Thats a clever way of avoiding the truth

Government exists to protect innocent human life

No unborn child has ever been convicted of a capital crime worthy of the death penality

My question is, with the mom having cancer, could the baby have it as well?

God bless you always!!!

Life's tough, shit happens, wear a fucking helmet.

Challenging The State costs the time and money that could be expended going to another state.

This is all politics for abortionist ghouls.
She is not paying for the lawyers and this case should be heard.

Women who have this issue shouldn't be burden to driving eight hours, and it could be longer than that seeing Texas is surrounded by mostly red states, so it should be challenged.
