The Scam of ‘CV19 Is Not Over’

Here we go again.

So Trump should be demanding that mayors and governors open up today. He should be a leader. He's not afraid to say anything ELSE.

But he won't, and the Trumpsters won't see a peep about that, because they don't have the balls to do so.
So the President overrides the internal operations office States?
Nope. He just says something. He acts like a leader.

I was specific, and you blatantly misrepresented what I said.

You just illustrated my point.
You asked why the President isn’t ordering States to do something. I said it’s not within his power.
Of course it's within his power to say something. You don't know that?

Look at how far you'll go to protect him.

I think you're in on this with him. I think you're trying to destroy the economy because you hate America.
You obviously have not kept up.
So it's President Barr, then? And Trump criticized the Georgia governor for talking about opening up.

Why are you afraid to criticize Trump? Why won't he say something? Why won't he tweet something? What is he afraid of?

Don't worry. Those are rhetorical questions.

Of course there’s still cases. THAT WAS THE GOAL OF SHUTTING DOWN THE ECONOMY!

Remember FLATTEN THE CURVE?

The concern was too many cases occurring simultaneously above the capacity of the healthcare world to handle it. So spread it out so resources could handle the load. The area in the red and blue are IDENTICAL. Translation: SAME GRAND TOTAL OF CASES.

To say the shutdown must continue because we are still having cases is moving the goalposts. And after that they’ll be moved again and again.
/——-/ NY Gov Andy Boy Cuomo has just delayed opening up Long Island “for the foreseeable future.” So much for the “definite May 15 deadline.”
Yep. Keep moving the goalposts.

You are even dumber than you seem. The curve is now flattened in New York. You have the whole rest of the country where it hasn't even hit yet. Your case numbers are still rising, your death count is still rising. You haven't "flattened the curve at all" because THERE IS NO CURVE TO FLATTEN. THERE IS JUST A LINE GOING STRAIGHT UP.

The estimate of dead Americans has now risen, because of the failure to stop transmissions.
The only scary thing in this CV19 thing is the large number of people like you who don’t have a clue about facts except what CNN tells you, so you’re happy with authoritarian control of your daily life.

The checks that have been sent out to the people have made this Pestilence a very profitable time for many people. That's where the idea of a continued shutdown becomes so popular. Millions are making more sitting on their keisters than they did working a few months ago.

Reminds me of the beginning of the Steel Collapse. The laid off steelworkers got UI checks. If they worked in the steel industry , they got special Trade Readjustment checks, if they were a unionized USW member they also got Supplemental Unemployment benefits "SUB" checks, they continued to often receive "Vacation" pay from the employer.

For a season, these laid off men were doing fine. Money in their pocket, plenty of time to f around, drink, etc.

But that money came to an end, just like the money here will come to an end. I would hope that the people will look forward and realize that this can't be the "new normal" , its (to borrow the marxist term) "unsustainable"

A Trump administration projection and a public model predict rising death tolls.
As President Trump presses for states to reopen their economies, his administration is privately projecting a steady rise in the number of coronavirus cases and deaths over the next several weeks. The daily death toll will reach about 3,000 on June 1, according to an internal document obtained by The New York Times, a 70 percent increase from the current number of about 1,750.
The projections, based on government modeling pulled together by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, forecast about 200,000 new cases each day by the end of the month, up from about 25,000 cases a day currently.

The numbers underscore a sobering reality: The United States has been hunkered down for the past seven weeks to try slowing the spread of the virus, but reopening the economy will make matters worse.

...

LOL
What gets me is that it is pro-lifers who don’t seem to give a shit about losing more life for the sake of a buck.
why does that get you? i do not expect anything different from "pro-lifers".
True. They are all hypocrites when it comes to life versus profit.
And that's much of the problem. This is not about Trump, it's about those who enable him.

We haven't learned from history. It's not like this hasn't happened many times before.

We’ll file that under the 2.2 million who were supposed to die according to the ‘experts’.

Fact is, the curves of nations who took little action other than tell their citizens to use common sense have identical curves to nations who took draconian actions and shutdown their economies.

As sympathetic as I am to opening up the economy, the idea that the economy wouldn't be getting hammered if these restrictions hadn't been put in place is simply wrong. People who think that don't understand basic economics.

The economy is based on human behavior. People wouldn't be going about their normal lives with the pandemic occurring, restrictions or not. They would voluntarily be reducing their expenditures because they would not be going out as much and instead would be staying indoors. The only debate would be the degree of the economic collapse.

Sweden's economy - which is the most open thus far - is expected to fall 7% to 10%.

wow. so much insight. and so new.

tell me, where in the curve is the USA right now, in your expert opinion, perfessor?
You let us know if you think medical facilities are stretched to the limit.
If so you can inform the tens of thousands of doctors and nurses who’ve been layed off.
Oh my God... you DO realize that all Doctors are not the same right???
You DO realize that a Sports Medicine doctor would have no idea what to do right? or a Podiatrist, or an Orthopaedic... etc. etc.
You DO realize that it is primarily not doctors that are treating the patients right?? It is Respiratory Therapist and Nurses.
You DO realize that they can't mix CV patients with regular patients right??
You DO realize that it is primarily ICUs that have been overrun right??
You DO realize that hospitals have set up step down units as ICU's because their ICU is above capacity?
You DO realize how amazingly stupid it would be to hospitalize an elective patient or non critical patient within feet of CV patients and staff that are constantly exposed??

Right??

You don't understand basic math. The curve was going up sharply because we weren't social distancing. Only after we implemented these restrictions did the curve began to flatten.

I don't know if 2.2 million is the right answer, but it certainly would have much higher today had we carried on as we were.

BTW Sweden has one of the highest death rates thus far. That may not be the case in the end, but your assertion that more open countries have similar case rates is nonsense.

You can thank Sweden's generous social system for that

What kind of moron thinks that Covid-19 is a scam with nearly 70,000 dead in the US alone?

Maybe you should put things in perspective a bit. Belgium has the highest death rate in the world per million at 07% of the population. Move down to 13th and you have Ecuador whose death rate is at .01% of the population. The US is at .02%. There are 182 more countries with death rates lower than .01%. The MSM won't tell you this though because this would not stoke the fearful response they so desperately need to even have a chance in the upcoming election. One would think all the self proclaimed "smart" Democrats would have figured this out by now.

Right??

Hospitals have always had Step Down units for patients that get moved out of ICU's because they are starting to get better. Further, hospitals have always had infectious and non-infectious patients under the same roof. CV isn't new, but patients with the flu, aids, or any one of numerous ailments have always been isolated. One of my sister in laws got a fancy "bone marrow" transplant for her cancer. She had to spend 3 weeks in an isolation ward of the hospital because of her fragile immune system, esp. right after the procedure.

Yep. Obviously we should be looking at a reasonable, pragmatic approach, but we're no longer capable of being either reasonable or pragmatic. Not allowed.
