Whoever is responsible, credit should most definitely be rendered. Those so disposed might thank 'God', as for the peaceful resolution of the struggle between the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. Gorbachev was rational and open to reasonable change. Did something similar happen to the leader of North Korea? We don't know, and if he simply grew up and thought more clearly, then giving even him credit doesn't hurt my feelings.
Time will tell, but it is definitely too soon to be paying homage to just the current U.S. Chief Executive, and rather chauvinist to boot.

Trump is doing one thing different. He's acting so crazy that North and South Korea are more afraid of Trump, then they are of each other.

I think the Winter in N. Korea was so harsh that the N. Korean government decided that spending their limited funds on food makes more sense than spending it on a useless nuke program.
