Another thing upon further examination of what's in the local news there. A large refugee camp was severely flooded five days ago. Syrian Army has captured Khattab, Al-Majdal, and Al-Sobeen in northern Hama.

He could have ended the hundreds of years war between Sunni and Shite Muslims. He could have conveyed the attitude to the countries majority Sunni peaceful marchers and protesters that it was OK for Assad to kill them as they carried signs and chanted peacefully for change and representation.

I do not trust US and Western European mainstream sources so much so that I immediately start searching alternative sources when a story breaks. They have proven themselves time and time again, even when not lying, of giving half truths.
Now, this does not excuse many Arabic or other sources as well. It is human nature to tell YOUR side's story but...man you have to do your homework. I have been to some of these places and then read western reports and been like W...T....F?
