It's possible ^^^ (during 1980 President Bush said, "oops" and cast aside Cheney and the other conservatives when he supported the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008 Bush might have done something to further stimulate the economy, but I'm not Nostradamus. Since his effort to prevent a recession in Feb 2008 was based mostly on cutting taxes I think he could have prevented it.

If the reader really wants to understand the Great Recession and how it was mitigated by the end of '09, read the two links I've posted above.

It will help to put in perspective the lies and outright attacks on the Obama Administration which are so common on this message board, and the ignorance of how deficits impact the debt.
